Details of the role : Qualifications Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, computer science, business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management or IT experience Working knowledge of SQL / querying languages, should be able to write complex queries. Having teradata knowledge is plus. Should have knowledge on Facets or Amisys payer suites. Working knowledge on ETL tools like SSIS. Should have healthcare knowledge on claims, encounters and risk adjustment space. Key Responsibilities : Work with business stake holders and understand the requirements. Create user stories and assign them to the development team for the implementation and perform UAT validations. Have knowledge on Jira / Confluence for direction and planning Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas : claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management. Develop reports and deliverables for management Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and / or other data warehouse analytical tools Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis. Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analyst.
