Leading electronics manufacturer of AC / DC units is seeking an Assembler to join their team.

Position Summary :

Ideally, we are looking for someone with assembly experience in electronics, specifically with PCB's and box builds.

You will be responsible to assemble a variety of electro / mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and rework.

To assemble a variety of electronic and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and rework of Programmable Power and VTI products.

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision uses engineering drawings and standard methods to determine correct sequences of assembly procedures and methodology.
  • Use of small hand tools, fixtures and soldering wire and FET’s.
  • Perform component level inspection and rework.
  • Use microscope to inspect, identify faults, assembly errors, and damaged components.
  • Operates simple machines, prep equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in an electrical assembly environment Soldering skills Resistor color code, component recognition and basic math Read engineering drawings, OP sheets and BOMs
  • Work from manuals, drawings, part lists, verbal and written instructions.
  • ESD awareness.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Requires ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Good basic math skills and knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Must have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as required, including weekends
  • Must be able to communicate, in English effectively both in written and verbal form
  • Must have COVID vaccination

Schedule :

Monday thru Friday 5 : 30 AM to 2 PM + Overtime able and willing to work overtime Monday thru Friday and weekends as necessary.

Compensation : $18-22 / hr DOE

Product Manager

The role of Product Manager for the US Homecare Business is described as a 'Down Stream' position which has a Sales Support and Marketing focus.

The ideal individual would demonstrate proven Marketing skills and ability to develop strong brand awareness for medical or consumer products.

The ideal candidate would bring value through presenting to the sales management, marketing, and business development teams and driving new ideas for marketing and sales campaigns.

Consistent with this approach would require strong Customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out market research with the objective of maximizing sales revenues, market share and profit margins.
  • Support the launch of new products and development of product promotional campaigns including effectively measuring and managing the successful implementation.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and sales funnel conversion
  • Partner with internal and external agencies and marketing service functions to design and develop effective marketing campaigns.
  • Develop KOL relationships and execute strategies for referral development.
  • Represent us at key industry trade shows and networking events to build strong customer relationships and develop business knowledge.
  • Acquire and analyze market and customer business data to support product pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Become a product subject matter expert to provide technical and application support to inside and outside customers.
  • Provide input to training material development and participate in internal / external training activities.
  • Liaison with Upstream Product Management to support product development and new product releases.
  • Work with cross functional teams to support product life cycle management, including change management
  • 20% or more domestic and international travel is anticipated.
  • This role is based in our Irvine, CA office.

Experience & Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or scientific discipline. Advanced qualifications in digital marketing preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Advanced level understanding of digital marketing technology and channel, including social platforms, is highly desirable.
  • Strong Technical background and experience working with high volume technology focused consumer / medical products
  • Advanced level skills in using MS Excel is essential.
  • Ability to travel throughout US to support sales & marketing effort

Production Planner

We are hiring a Production Planner on a contractual basis (6 months). We are an electronics manufacturer located in Sorrento Valley and are looking for a Planner with PCB experience.

Hourly Rate : $30-$40 depending on experience

The Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling all work orders to demands to the production floor.

Schedule Monday thru Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (a flexible schedule can be discussed) 100% onsite

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics or related field preferred
  • APICS-CPIM a plus
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing, production control / planning, materials management or related discipline is required
  • PCB experience is required
  • Aptitude in decision making and working with numbers
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and MRP; Navision, Manman, or Oracle knowledge a plus
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Create WO based on demand
  • Communicate / follow up with purchase department for shortage
  • Communicate / follow up with manufacturing
  • Update planning parameters as needed
  • Participate in production meeting. Provide priorities and material status to production team.
  • Develop and implement the production schedule for the manufacturing work cell and purchasing function taking into consideration available capacity, material availability, finished good level production order requirements, and best production order sequence.
  • Review material / purchase order due dates to ensure late deliveries are expedited in accordance with production schedule requirements.

Verify status of components and delinquent material, maintaining shortage records.

  • Provide input and oversight of routings and planning bills of material (BOM’s) in support of material resource planning (MRP) requirements.
  • Provide direction to purchasing with regard to part number specific supply chain strategies and urgency.
  • Complete tasks and special projects as assigned
