Pay $17.00 per hour
Reports to the designated director, manager, administrator, or supervisor. Responsible for performing a variety of routine clerical and departmental duties.
- Receive telephone calls and visitors; handle routine matters personally and route non routine business to proper staff for consideration.
- Maintain calendar and schedule appointments.
- Act as liaison between manager, director and other center and departmental staff.
- Maintain correspondence control log, receive incoming and outgoing mail and follow up on dates for action items.
- Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to student.
Prepare related reports.
- Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties; preparation of special reports, type and distribute meeting minutes, maintain files and records, statistical data, make travel arrangements, etc. as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment.
- Enter information into CIS, EIS and other automated system as directed.
Education and Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience required. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the OA / CTS Manager, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for directing the contracts outreach, public relations plans and outreach activities to increase the interest in youth to apply for the Job Corps program in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions include but not limited to :
- Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking; develop linkages with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations and churches;
contract potential enrollees to explore enrollment at both Waimanalo & Maui campuses.
- Facilitate Business Engagement Initiative teams on a quarterly basis for both Waimanalo & Maui Campuses.
- Conduct employer outreach activities, developing linkages with industries matching the site’s career technical offering.
- Prepare, schedule and provide outreach presentations in coordination with the assigned admissions counselor from that area.
- Stay current with center information for the assigned centers to include trade availability.
- Maintain linkages with the one-stop career centers; keep one-stops informed and updated on Job Corps.
- Maintain accountability logs of organizations contacted, individuals contacted, and referrals to admissions counselors.
- Prepare necessary and required reports related to recruitment efforts.
Education & Experience Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree and one year sales or marketing experience. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
- Requires interisland travel at a minimum of 1-2x / monthly
- Experience working with youth, excellent written and verbal communication and computer proficiency also required.
- Valid driver's license in an acceptable driving record.

The Security Guard is responsible for providing security coverage at the company access gate, performing patrol duties in assigned areas to ensure positive group relations and activities, and protect life an property.

We are currently seeking Security Officers to work our Prime or Midnight Shifts. On-Call or Part-Time Shifts also available.
Rate of Pay : $18.82 / hourly + $2,000 Sign On Bonus
This position reports to Supervisor, Safety & Security and is responsible for performing guard and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, and disasters in compliance with government and management directives.
Duties include, but not limited to :
- Secure building and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks and emergency equipment’ maintain log of findings and corrective action taken
- Perform parking and traffic control duties
- Perform routine vehicle equipment inspection
- Provide general transportation services as necessary
- Respond to fire alarms, take necessary steps to report fires, assist in suppressing fires and resent fire alarm equipment
- Set up and check operation of intrusion alarm systems in building as required
- Assist staff and law enforcement personnel in controlling disturbances; conduct preliminary investigation of crimes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years related experience
- Security guard certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment require
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
