POSITION OVERVIEW

Key member of the financial reporting group responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis.

The staff accountant will assist in the management of the monthly close process as well as the preparation of financial statements, analysis and reconciliations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare monthly journal entries (leases (topic 842) and equity).
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly consolidation and financial statements.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet fluctuation schedule and obtain variance explanations.
• Assist with the preparation of ad hoc analysis for management as requested.
• Assist the Financial Reporting team with technical accounting calculations, analysis and documentation.

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience (Big 4)

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Must have strong Excel skills

Seeking a Legal Department administrative assistant to manage and execute administrative, project and senior-level support while exercising a high level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities :

Essential Functions

• Create RFP’s, track proposals and draft agreements; 35+ per year

Support MLB Global Events’ team’s work on the Event Experience and Ballpark Entertainment at MLB’s jewel events.

Essential Functions

• Work with MLB’s Event Experience team in the preparation for MLB’s All-Star Game, Little League Classic international games and the World Series.
• Assist with preparation, scheduling and materials in advance of event planning meetings and site visits, including Power Point presentations and support documents
• Create and manage department Event Experience preview decks and recaps

The Manager, Ballpark Operations ( Manager ) for Major League Baseball ( MLB ) will be responsible for working closely with the Director, Ballpark Operations, and the rest of the Security & Ballpark Operations Department ( department ) in the development and implementation of state-of-the-art best practices for MLB events and facilities, and the continuing development and management of a system of Best Stadium Operating Practices for all 30 MLB Clubs.

The Manager will serve as a resource for MLB’s 30 Club Ballpark Operations staff and facilitate dialogue between them and the league office regarding facility operations, security, health requirements, custodial, environmental sustainability, and other topics.

The Replay Administrator position is an opportunity for aspiring candidates to collaborate with dedicated members of the MLB Instant Replay staff to help improve the overall quality of the game.

In this position, a Replay Administrator will assist in recording Replay data, disseminating pertinent information to club and league representatives during live games, and handling daily reporting, along with other administrative responsibilities within the department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Monitor all live games for plays that come to replay review
• Record relevant data points specific to each game and replay review
• Compile and distribute daily Replay information, video links, and datasheets for daily reporting
• Assist in responding to internal inquiries regarding Replay data
