What you will be doing :
The Restaurant Manager is focused and responsible for the following :
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Responsible for upholding the excellent service standards for the guests and associates
- Assist the Director of Outlets on special projects as needed
- Be aware of guests' needs; assist in providing a pleasant dining experience
- Direct activity of staff, supervise, and evaluate the performance of restaurant associates.
- Assist in the training and development of associates.
- Assist associates in the performance of their duties.
- Provide information to the Director of Restaurant concerning outlet needs.
- Complete end of shift paperwork.
- Regular and prompt attendance as well as the ability to work the schedule as defined. Schedule may include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Schedule staff accordingly to accommodate business demand.
- Meet and speak to guests concerning special needs or complaints.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all associates and guests.
- Monitor hours and staffing overtime on a daily basis for Fog Room, as it relates to sales and profits.
- Attend Department head weekly meetings.
- Gather and implement all proper tools for running shift (i.e. schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks, etc.).
- Ensure that guests are satisfied by assisting with service, seating, and communicating with kitchen and by striving to speak to all guests.
- Handle guest service issues or complaints
- Take reservations if needed
- Ensure quality control of menu items, and cleanliness and appearance of Fog Room and staff.
- Monitor bartenders and servers for proper alcohol service / guest intoxication levels etc. while adhering to local liquor laws.

Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor
Location : AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue / Downtown
Life as a Housekeeping Supervisor :
- Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms / suites and public areas to ensure everything is clean and in good repair.
- Assist in controlling expenses and minimizing waste in all areas of housekeeping.
- Ensure lobbies, guest hallways, guest rooms and the back of the house areas are cleaned to LDHG standards.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and housekeeping staff during unanticipated rush periods.
- Maintain required PARs of all housekeeping and laundry supplies by ordering all needed supplies and amenities on a monthly / quarterly basis.
- Respond to all guest requests, situations, complaints and accidents presented to housekeeping in an attentive, courteous and efficient way.
What we're looking for :
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
