Senior Graphic Designer creates and designs digital and physical collateral in
a wide range of media, manages design projects from concept to completion, and
presents concepts and work to internal clients through exceptional visual,
verbal and written communication.
Essential
Functions
- Create and design digital and physical collateral to support restaurant and company branding in a wide range of media (including but not limited to menus, packaging, marketing campaigns, apparel, merchandise, signage, print collaterals), collaborate on ui / ux design, prepare digital and physical mockups, and incorporate creative copy into design as needed
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, including but not limited to communicating timelines, following brand guidelines and creative briefs, and providing regular updates to to the project manager and internal clients
- Proficiently use graphic design software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign), and maintain organized files and accurate time tracking
- Use effective written, verbal and visual communication to present work to internal clients, and effectively respond to direction and feedback from department leaders and internal clients
- Maintain menus and ongoing collaterals for restaurants as assigned
- Maintain working knowledge of environmental graphic design (EGD) including but not limited to assembly, materials and installation techniques applicable to signage and other EGD projects
- Manage print production process with vendors for cost, quality control and timely delivery
- Maintain knowledge of current design trends and aesthetics and proficiency with new graphic design technologies
- Travel to local and out-of-state locations as needed, including but not limited to delivering collateral, onsite installations, and restaurant openings
- Maintain availability to perform duties outside standard business hours on occasion as needed including evenings and weekends
- Maintain proficiency and safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools, equipment, software and platforms including but not limited to Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite

Sous Chefs are responsible for running back of house (BOH) operations
and shifts, including supervision of kitchen, dish and all other BOH teams as
well as the preparation, presentation and service of menu items. The Sous
Chef’s primary focus : overseeing the line during service and running the best
shift; also updates and maintains sidework, organization and cleanliness of
dish area; leads BOH pre-shift meetings and participating in line, temp and
cooler checks and food tastings for the shift; and oversees all closing kitchen
duties such as breaking down the line, closing down coolers and employee areas.

Run BOH shifts and ensure effective and efficient BOH shifts
and operations including

Partner with GM and / or designated managers / chefs to create
prep lists throughout the day and assign production duties to BOH employees in

Meet with GM and / or designated managers / chefs throughout
the day to ensure production standards, staffing levels, and specials
Perform regular line checks throughout the day to ensure
quality of all menu items
Assist
the GM and / or chef with daily walk-through inventory to assess maintenance
needs, sanitation issues and supply levels of food and goods, and accept and
inspect deliveries as needed
Purchase
and order food product and supplies for the restaurant including daily product
order
Monitor
BOH employee sidework and ensure BOH employees comply with all
sanitation / safety guidelines and procedures
- Assist with tracking and controlling food cost
- Ensure effective
communication of food production and timing issues, needs, and special requests
between front of house (FOH) and BOH
Understand and follow
the food allergy procedure and special orders / restrictions
Partner with GM and / or designated managers / chefs to conduct

Ensure

- Work with and communicate directly with

Work with Graphic Design team on various
collateral including menu holders, check presenters and additional branding for
retail items, ensuring consistency with restaurant concept and interior design

of color design and technology, and design trends in art, architecture,
artifacts, fashion, interior design and restaurant design.
Work with Partners to prepare and submit
purchase orders to vendors and track orders of interior design project elements
utilizing standard LEYE operating procedures, and communicate with vendors and
purchasing agents
Organize, continuously update and assist in
developing the interior design library of physical and / or digital samples
Use tact and good judgment when dealing with
challenges pertaining to guests, vendors and employees, and respond with
patience and courtesy
Attend design seminars and courses and fairs
for continuing education at the discretion of supervisor
