We are looking for a Sr. Data Scientist I with strong expertise in statistics / modeling, machine learning to join our diverse team of data scientists on the Auto Insurance Rating Analytics team.

This individual will play a key role in new product innovation, model development, generating actionable insights, and working closely with the Vertical and Product teams to design and implement new solutions that are cutting edge and support the insurance market.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or other quantitative discipline (or equivalent years of experience);

Master’s / Ph.D. degree preferred.

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in data manipulation and various AI / ML methodologies, preferably in applications using credit data for insurance or financial services.
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following : R, Python, SQL, or equivalent analytic software.
  • Experience manipulating and merging multiple large data sets in a distributed computing environment.
  • Solid understanding of ML techniques including hypothesis testing, sample design, model development (linear and non-linear models), validation of machine learning models.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and / or R, with extensive experience with their standard data manipulation and ML packages.

We’re looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to help develop our key value propositions and go-to-market strategy globally, helping us to achieve our ambitious growth targets.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing Ag Solutions, the Portfolio Marketing Manager will execute the messaging and positioning for Proagrica’s Ag Solutions portfolio including Sirrus and CDMS solutions, driving the marketing strategy of both solutions and becoming a powerhouse of insight into our customers and markets we operate in.

The ability to grasp and translate complex use cases and technical capabilities into benefits that map to customer problems is crucial.

As Portfolio Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for understanding our prospects and customers in terms of market sizing, segmentation and personas as well as translating this into go-to-market planning including the delivery of the value proposition and messaging framework.

You will work closely with the regional campaign marketing team members to localise for maximum impact and collaborate with product and sales to create sales enablement resources and develop market-shaping thought-leadership programs.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Understand our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; identify & understand our competition and how we can differentiate.
  • Develop value propositions, product positioning and messaging that differentiates Proagrica’s solutions in the market.
  • Create a thought leadership program that is centered around customer problems and market trends to support brand building and demand generation.

This should focus on immediate sub-brand positioning and tie into the over-arching Proagrica message.

  • Support the rollout of the GTM strategy by target industry segment and geography, working in conjuncture with regional marketing teams on execution.
  • Produce an impactful sales enablement strategy and content aligned to different stages of the sales cycle, in collaborations with Sales & Product teams.
  • Ensure feedback loops are in place to optimise messaging and positioning of solutions.

Skills and Behaviors :

  • 3+ years of strategic portfolio or solutions marketing experience in B2B environment
  • Proven experience in working with product, technology and sales teams to translate customer insights into use case, value proposition and messaging framework
  • Agriculture experience preferred, but not required
