Material Planner

Summary of Position :

The Material Planner will be responsible for planning and replenishing spare parts and equipment needed to support Customer Support & Training operational activities.

He or she will have to review, correct and adjust target stock levels in order to maintain the desired customer service level.

He or she will be responsible for requisition review, order creation and expediting activities, managing the order portfolio based on customer need.

He or she will be responsible of tracking materials status and resolve inventory discrepancies in order to optimize material flow working close AWIT central HUB and cross functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Order and expedite all materials and equipment needed to support North and South American Fleet, MRO shop and other internal customers.

Analyze and consolidate historical data in order to support spare part planning activities. Review target stock level and shortages on a continues basis using SAP system.

Monitoring and assuring the accuracy of master data and MRP runs through APO planning system, apply change to inventory mix according to evolution / supersession or airworthiness directives.

Assist and resolve inventory discrepancies through problem solving methodologies with cross functional team. Track and communicate to cross functional teams materials status and availability.

Define, perform and maintain the approved reports and KPI to measure the service level and performance for Materials department in after market activities.

Participate to process improvements, system change testing and validation as required.

Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for Position :

Education

BS degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years, directly related experience in areas of material planning, forecasting and procurement.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Operational knowledge of SAP and Planning Software (Blue Yonder)
  • Used to work in a multi-cultural environment, strong communication skills

ISM and / or APICS certification is a plus

Flight Instructor

Summary of Position :

Helicopter Instructor Pilot. To conduct in-aircraft initial conversion and / or recurrent flight training onsite and at customer location.

To complete course paperwork as required by Leonardo Helicopters and to assist in the development of course training material.

To deliver Leonardo Helicopters (LH) standardized pilot training in accordance with (IAW) LH pilot training syllabi-

  • Preflight instruction and briefings
  • Preflight training requirements in OTD (other training devices)
  • In-flight training
  • Postflight debriefing
  • Course paperwork

Evaluation of student throughout the training process. Alerting US Chief Flight Instructor Pilot of any training issue.

Prepare courseware as direct by US Chief Flight Instructor Pilot

Demonstrations and Ferry flights as require by LH

Maintain flight hours, pilot and medical certification requirements IAW LH requirements

Qualifications for Position :

B. Experience

  • 2,500 total hours Helicopter
  • 1,000 hours twin turbine helicopter - preferred
  • 300 hours instrument actual / simulated

C. Competencies & Attributes

  • Instructor background in helicopters
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
  • Strong IFR experience and knowledge
  • Experience in the development of aviation training material
  • A119 trained, 150 hours as PIC on type preferred
  • IT skills : Microsoft Office

D. Licensure / Certification

  • FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate, ATP Preferred
  • FAA CFI / CFII
  • EASA Preferred
  • Valid FAA Medical, minimum Second-class, First-Class preferred.
