As our Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in our quest for new clients. You'll work closely with leadership, marketing, delivery, and clients to build a pipeline and drive managed service revenue.
We need someone who's full of energy, focus, and motivation to succeed. Acquiring new clients in this space requires a sharp eye for detail, dedication, persistence, and the ability to explain complex solutions in easy-to-understand language.
You'll be responsible for targeting prospective clients that fit our target profile, determining their needs, and working with our Sales Engineers to design technical solutions.
This position reports to the Director of Sales based in Atlanta, GA.
Requirements :
- Build a business pipeline through prospecting, events, professional associations, networking, and other lead-generation activities.
- Achieve or exceed your monthly and annual sales goals for new client revenue by performing activities necessary to develop and close opportunities.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition.
- Coordinate required resources to respond to complex IT requirements.
- Preparing and presenting detailed proposals and presentations.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospective opportunities and track sales activities within the CRM.
Key Measures of Success
- New client generation by expanding the client base.
- Meeting or exceeding personal monthly / annual sales goals.
- Heading the entire sales process from lead generation to handing new clients to account managers.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technology Sales roles, particularly in IT Managed Services, with a successful track record of developing account plans, attaining individual sales goals and adding new clients.
- Familiarity with formal sales process training such as Miller Heiman.
- Well-versed in consultative selling of complex Managed Services solutions.
- Knowledge of Software Solutions, Managed Services, and IT Solutions, including Cybersecurity, Public and Private Cloud Solutions, Hosting / Colocation, Help Desk Support, Data and Network Security, Disaster Recovery, Integrated Cloud Solutions, Projects, and Hardware Sales.
- Superior communication skills verbal, written, and listening.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills to work with colleagues and prospective client contacts.
- Effective client negotiation skills.
- Intuitively driven to deliver extraordinary service to clients.
