Position : Executive Assistant
Schedule : 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, M-F.
Starting Salary Range : * $55,000-$68,750 annually
The stated starting salary pay range for this position is meant to reflect a range of where a typical entry level candidate would start and is not meant to be all inclusive.
Additional education and experience may result in a starting pay outside of the stated range. *

As an Executive Assistant you will be a valuable asset to Laradon’s mission by providing administrative support for the CEO, Laradon’s Board of Directors, the Laradon Foundation, Inc.
Laradon’s endowment foundation) Board of Directors, and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), which is done under the direct supervision of the CEO.
Responsible and competent performance is required in this position of trust handling highly confidential material and information.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a fast-paced environment with competing tasks and demands.
Continual attention to detail, customer service and meeting deadlines are also required.
No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities :
- In charge of all Board of Directors and ELT administration needs including scheduling meetings, email reminders, agendas for approval by the Chairman, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate meetings and provides correspondence, notification, reports, and other documentation to the Board of Directors and its committees, the Colorado Elks Association, legislators, school superintendents, community leaders and organizations as requested by the CEO.
- Ensures Board documents (i.e. Conflict of Interest policy) and Board policies and procedures are completed and followed in accordance with bylaws.
- Ensures Laradon’s DUNs number, Better Business Bureau profile and other agency related documents are properly filed and maintained.
- Attends Business Plan meetings and updates the business and strategic plans as requested by the CEO.
- Answers phones, emails, and greets guests with professionalism and a high level of customer service.
- Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing systems for the CEO.
- Reviews and executes all Laradon related contracts assigned by CEO.
- Gathers, analyze and summarize data for reports for the CEO.
- Responsible for special projects as assigned by the CEO.
- Serves as an ambassador and represents Laradon at appropriate business and social functions as assigned by the CEO.
- Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
We ask that you bring the following assets :
- Must have minimum three years’ experience in administrative support position (appropriate work experience and education may be substituted for this requirement).
- Experience must include use and operation of standard office equipment, including : personal computers with a variety of software products such as Microsoft Office, website software, database and presentation software.
- Strong attention to details
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact, diplomacy and high level of interpersonal skills.
- Mobility - bending, crawling, sitting and stooping.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds.
