Essential Job Functions

• Provide excellent customer service while delivering orders to the customer
• Act as a brand ambassador when discussing Kroger's Seamless Experience and delivery process with customers
• Ensure a high degree of professionalism and personal presentation when interacting with customers
• Drive a company vehicle safely and in accordance to Kroger's driving standards
• Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in good condition, resolving any issues that may occur
• Maintain customer communication while in route to inform them of any issues or changes to their delivery in adherence with Kroger delivery standards
• Control and maintain an accurate record of customer deliveries
• Assist fellow drivers that may encounter difficulties while out delivering
• Ensure that goods are kept within the correct temperature guidelines; monitor and record temperatures to follow food health and safety regulations
• Handle product safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines; record any serious breakages or contamination issues and report to supervisor
• Complete pre-inspections check of company vehicle before use and report any defects to supervisor
• Operate company provided technology devices for mapping and customer interaction

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have a good driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device

Position Summary :

Responsible for maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds to company standards in order to control operating cost. Responsible for training mechanics and other maintenance personnel.

Position Summary :

Safely transport goods to stores and customers of the distribution trucking company. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

• Drive truck to deliver goods to stores and other customers.
• Adhere to all federal, state, corporate and departmental safety standards.
• Inspect truck for defects before, during and after trips; submits report indicating truck condition.

• Weigh load.
• Unload merchandise at store.
• Pick up goods at vendor locations (backhauls) and verifies products and quantities as loaded.

Position Summary :

Primarily responsible to coach and mentor their assigned staff within the Kroger Transportation Center (KTC). Contribute to a team environment by planning and supervising the operations of the KTC.

Identify and communicate clear expectations for their direct reports. Help remove obstacles in the way of achieving results and establish a sense of urgency for self and team to act decisively and solve problems.
