Maintenance Technician

SRG Global is seeking a Maintenance / Robotics technician. We are searching for the right people to fill roles on our Maintenance / Robotics team.
The right person has Injection Molding Maintenance experience with a maintenance or robotic background. This role is responsible for Predictive, Preventative, and reactive maintenance on molding machines and Fanuc robots.
Our Team
At SRG Global in Covington we will give you the tools you need to succeed and grow! For this role, we anticipate paying up to 35 / hr based on experience.
Second and Third shift has a 1.25 / hr shift differential added. There is also a $1000 retention bonus after 90 days.
Open positions on 2nd and 3rd shift
- 2nd shift : Monday-Friday 2pm-11pm
- 3rd Shift : Monday-Friday 10pm-7am
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Adhere to all state and federal OSHA codes and regulations
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations
- Maintain plant equipment and facilities
- Complete of preventive maintenance work orders
- Complete of corrective work orders
- Utilize written and verbal communication skills to maintain proper communication
- Maintain the data entry into the MP2 tracking system
- Perform work order completion data
- Spare parts inventory activity
- Maintain a clean and organized Maintenance area
- Contribute to TPM, Kaizen, and CIP activities
- Accept personal ownership of company, plant, and department goals for quality, productivity, and safety.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50-75 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & outdoors on occasion as needed
- Frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger manipulation, handle, and feel; reach with arms and hands above head; talk and hear
- Sometimes required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit
- Specific vision requirements : close, distant, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Who you are (Basic Qualification)
- A minimum of two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience in industrial maintenance to include but not limited to; electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, welding and systems troubleshooting
- Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation
- Experience reading and interpreting hydraulic and electrical prints
- Willing and able to do the physical requirements listed
What Will Put You Ahead :
- Technical degree in a related field of study preferred
- Experience with injection molding strongly preferred

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Responsible for following all plant safety policies
- Responsible for following all plant ISO / TS 16949 & ISO-14001 policies and instructions
- Setting up hot runner controllers, valve gate units and injection press and auxiliary equipment
- Releasing good parts at start-up
- Troubleshooting and correcting all aspects of the process to make quality molded parts
- Support engineering on tool trials and scrap reduction
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Maintaining daily run sheets
- Monitoring eDart alarms
- Setting up robotics after change over
- Reading and understanding documentation to install tools, hot runners and valve gate units
- Reading and understanding documentation to support engineering in support scrap reduction
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing this job the employee will be :
- Standing, Walking, Bending, Lifting, Laying, using Stairs / ladders to perform work, climbing
- Maximum lifting will be 50 pounds
- Work will be on concrete floors and at elevated levels if needed to perform work on mold presses
- The Process Technician will be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes
- The facility is temperature controlled; the normal temperature is approximately 68F during the winter and 85F during the summer
- Daily work involves working with grease, oils and other manufacturing related chemicals
- Daily work involves being in and around elevated temperatures and heat sources of up to 800F
Who you are(Basic Qualifications)
- Experience using hand tools
- Experience using a computer, tablet or smartphone
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Process Technician or similar role
- Experience with Injection Molding Machines
- Willing and able to meet the physical demands listed

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Production Technicians at our Rincon, GA facility to manufacture tissue, towel, and napkins safely and efficiently.
This position offers opportunities for development within your role and future growth within the company. The Production Technicians work a rotating 12-hour shift to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry.
Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber.
We have over 50 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets.

Schedule : The Mill operates 24 / 7 and 365 days per year. Therefore, our mill operates using a 12-hour rotating schedule that includes holidays, weekends, and overtime.
Our rotating schedule allows for a regular 14 days off every 4-week period. See example below. DS Day Shift 6 : 50 A.M.-7 : 10 P.

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Entry Level Production Operators for our Mount Jewett location. This entry-level production position creates value by working in a general labor capacity alongside the other operators to meet and exceed production goals.
New employees that have a strong focus on safety, and who demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency will find fulfillment as an integral part of a successful team.
Our Production Operators work 12hr rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime and work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment.
