Shop Foreman Job Summary
The primary function of the Shop Foreman is to supervise the night shift service technicians, verify quality of each Service Technician’s workmanship, provide hands on training and improve efficiency and productivity by maintaining training and quality control goals set forth by the Service Manager.
Shop Foreman Duties and Responsibilities
1. Communicates capacity status throughout the shift with day shift foremen.
2. Assigns work to Service Technicians based upon their skill level and the time-of-completion directed by the promise dates.
3. Personally performs quality control checks of workmanship on each service project.
4. Coordinates communication between Night Shift Supervisor and Service Technician regarding recommended services, changes in repairs, costs, and time-of-completion.
5. Monitors efficiency on each Technician, helps improve their skill level and work performance through better supervision, work assignment, and training.
6. Assists Day Shift Foremen and Service Manager regarding the Internship and day to day activities in the shop.
7. Cultivates Intern and Apprentice Technicians, training and managing productivity to encourage growth.
Shop Foreman Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Two years of experience as a heavy duty truck repair technician.
Working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods. One year supervisory experience desired. Excellent communication and managerial skills.
Valid Commercial Driver's License and good driving record. Professional personal appearance.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift, lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel.
Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Must climb in and out of customer's vehicles to record information and road drive.
S / he may be required to wear a dealership uniform.

PacLease Service Technician Job Summary
The primary function of the Service Technician is to perform superior quality repairs to
customer equipment, and make recommendations for further services as determined by the Technician in the course of the servicing.
PacLease Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
1. Receives repair order assignments from Shop Foreman.
2. Performs work directed in repair order in a timely and thorough manner. Maintains superior standard of workmanship in all services performed.
3. Advises Shop Foreman of any recommended changes in services ordered by customer.
4. Determines if any further repairs or servicing should be recommended to customer, and communicates such recommendations to the Shop Foreman.
5. Maintains a level of training and experience with specialized equipment, machinery, and servicing techniques necessary for superior servicing of the customer’s equipment.
Attends training sessions as required from time to time by Service Manager.
6. Performs additional repairs required when any piece of equipment is returned by customer because of Technician’s faulty workmanship.
7. Maintain accurate work order records of work performed and time clocked on job.
PacLease Service Technician Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. High School Diploma or the equivalent. Working knowledge of truck repair and maintenance.
Two years of experience as Technician’s helper or apprentice in truck dealership. Manual dexterity. Good judgment. Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely.
Driver’s License and good driving record.

Parts Warehouse Associate Job Summary
Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, pick-up and delivery of orders.
Parts Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
1. Accept and receive freight from freight companies after inspecting and verifying condition of shipment and noting of any damage to shipment documents.
2. Maintains & creates bin location so that all parts have a respective location according to size and / or product group.
3. Check in and receive all incoming inventory Locate parts in there prospective locations
4. Ensures accuracy of parts inventory by performing cycle and random bin counts.
5. Researches discrepancies on orders and / or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, and duplicate, damaged) for the purpose of correcting errors and / or returning damaged / incorrect parts.
6. Pick and pull parts for out outgoing parts orders
7. Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing support to warehouse and sales staff.
8. Maintain a clean / safe work environment
9. Participates in annual and random physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
10. Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Parts Warehouse Associate Qualifications
Able to read and comprehend English instructions and information
High School Diploma
Desire to learn all phases of business for possible promotion
Experience in Shipping : knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills
Packaging Skills : knowledge of how material should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage.
Excellent organization and strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, employee will work at a desk in a warehouse sitting doing paperwork, telephoning, filing, and ten-key.
For part of the shift, employee will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers.
Lifting of up to 50 lbs. without assistance on a daily basis, as well as heavier loads with forklifts and / or additional assistance will be required.
Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
