OVERVIEW OF JOB

• Manages and oversees janitorial services specialized in restaurant and kitchen equipment cleaning.

• OSHA related safety regulations and especially the use of chemicals.

OVERVIEW OF JOB

The Regional Zone Manager supervises and facilitates cleaning operations for customers in an assigned territory. Responsible for planning, directing participating, and overseeing crew members and subcontractors, ensuring performance expectations are met.

Develops and maintains professional working relationships with all clients in accordance with their contracts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates and supports the cleaning of customer sites / locations in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the customer contract and management
• Supporting sites with active supervision and cleaning of facilities
• Confers with customers and subcontractors to evaluate and provide improved and expanded services in the area
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with each client and ensure the client is retained by providing the best service levels in accordance with their contract
• Develops and implements plans for efficient use of materials, machines, effective cleaning processes
• Reviews subcontractor work, site conditions / quality and maintains cleaning schedules in accordance with customer’s requirements

Janitor / Custodian Responsibilities / D uties :

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and spot cleaning
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines, and other equipment (e.g., dust, wash, vacuum, and polish)
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean and supply restrooms
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Be a good steward of the facility
• Maintain supply closet

Janitor / Custodian Qualifications / Skills :

Must successfully pass KBS background check and may be required to pass a drug test depending on the location being serviced;

in healthcare settings, a drug test is required

• Janitorial / housekeeping or comparable experience is a plus
• Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus
• General familiarity with cleaning best practices
• Knows how to set work priorities to work independently but can also coordinate work priorities to work as a member of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work for efficiencies without minimizing work results
• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets / documents (generally in English;

may have in Spanish where state required)
