We are funded by Moderne Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, Correlation Ventures, and Max Ventures. About The Role This year, Kaiyo is focusing our attention on building a meaningful, delightful marketplace experience built on top of solid internal operations and tools.
You will create a variety of designs for a breadth of digital products, focusing on our storefront and product submissions.
An ability to listen to, understand, and translate customer needs into requirements and innovative design will drive significant increases in marketplace performance.
Your experience designing nimble, high-growth marketplace websites will help accelerate growth across our platform. You have strong visual design skills and can translate high-level requirements into seamless, intuitive, and enjoyable user interfaces.
As the designer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across all business units to define all potential use cases, all while establishing and promoting design guidelines and best practices.
You will report to our Director of Product. What You'll Do Use data and user insights to provide recommendations on optimal user journeys based on stakeholder requests Design experiences that optimize for conversion, increase engagement, and lower bounce rate.
Make fast prototypes for stakeholders to help them visualize the experience and determine all use cases and scenarios Think through all possible scenarios and subsequently create different UI / UX branches accordingly, with meticulous attention to detail to user prompts, error messaging, etc.
Design thoughtful UX experiments that will provide insights to improve user journeys, flows, and systems. Document and develop Kaiyo’s visual design system to maintain brand consistency across all elements of our platform Collaborate with the data team to ensure all design experiments and new feature launches are measurable and trackable Suggest design improvements and new features across all internal software.
Candidate Requirements 3 7 years of experience as a UI / UX, growth, or product designer Must have deep knowledge of eCommerce best practices, with at least two years of proven experience optimizing and improving an eCommerce product at every step of the funnel Must be up-to-date with current standards for accessibility and best design practices for SEO Must have extensive knowledge of product marketing and be a proficient storyteller Must be proficient in user research and implementing user insights during product design Must have experience launching user-facing products with user psychology in mind Must have strong responsive, visual, and UX design skills, with great attention to detail Strong Figma and cross-functional communication skills Experience designing for mobile, desktop, tablet, and across a variety of email clients Must have a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize according to business objectives In accordance with the New York Pay Transparency Act - we are disclosing that the range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 Powered by JazzHR
