Job Summary

JRK seeks an organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to a senior executive.

This position is based in our West Los Angeles office.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay : $75,.00 to $85,.00 per hour plus an annual discretionary bonus

The company offers auto-enrollment in its (k) plan after 60 days of employment. New employees accrue 80 hours of vacation in the first year and earn paid sick leave per state requirements.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to a senior executive or other assigned leadership staff
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for executives
  • Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes and recording minutes
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and distributes contents to appropriate staff
  • Performs office tasks, including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by executives
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes
  • Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, and maintains confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume and, at times, stressful environment
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems
  • Able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area of study preferred
  • At least four years of experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant supporting a mid-to-senior level executive, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial real estate environment

Physical Requirements

  • Expected work hours : 7 : 30 to 5 : 00, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
  • Travel : Occasionally, may need to drive a personal vehicle for business
  • Work environment and physical demands : General office environment, with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer;

must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
