Pay Range

$91,700.00-$126,100.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Data Analyst to join our team to continue in providing data driven insights that transform our business.

The Sr. Finance Data Analyst will be responsible for automating the finance analysis and reporting processes and creating data visualizations and dashboards.

The role will support all phases of finance data related projects, including defining data requirements, data design, data mapping and transformation, and data validation and control.

This includes mining data from primary and secondary sources (mainly SAP FI / CO), defining, supporting and enhancing data sources used for analytics and reorganizing data in a format for ease of consumption.

This role is part of our Finance organization and will partner closely with business unit finance teams in addition to the IT organization.

This position is based out of Denver, CO but we do have a flexible work arrangement which, by way of example, an employee's work week may include both some days at the employee's assigned company work location and some workdays performed remotely from the employee's home.

The schedule of remote work will be based on business and work needs as determined by management. Currently, this position requires work at the JM World Headquarters in Denver, CO and is not fully remote.

Your Day-to-Day :

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into projects.
  • Secure buy in from business and corporate stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Lead corporate and business unit finance teams to implement new data modelling, analytics, and presentation technology.
  • Initiate and manage new projects and build cross functional teams with corporate business finance, IT, and subject matter experts.
  • Employ effective data visualization techniques to tell the business story.
  • Develop sustainable, fully automated dashboards to help management quickly assess financial health of the business and identify drivers of performance.
  • Reconcile financial information from dashboards to the data source ERP and implement controls to ensure continued accuracy.
  • Define requirements for development and maintenance of finance data sets.
  • Coordinate with IT team to ensure optimal financial planning system performance.
  • Implement process and database changes.

What You Bring to the Team :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance / Accounting or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 7 years of strong IT and / or financial analysis experience
  • Ability to develop repeatable, clearly understandable, and comprehensive data visualizations that lead to data driven business decisions
  • Demonstrated passion to bridge financial expertise with the latest technology with a goal of delivering business value
  • Proven organization and project management skills that demonstrate the ability deliver assignments in a systematic and timely basis
  • Proven ability to work with and blend large volumes of data
  • Written / verbal communication skills allowing for clear and concise expression of ideas to influence decision making throughout all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of data structures, development, data models and techniques for data mining
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience in statistical analysis
  • Experience with building predictive models
  • Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Thorough knowledge and prior experience with SAP preferred
  • Minimal travel required 0 to 10 days per year
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting

Pay Range

$123,400.00-$169,600.00 Annual

The Commercial Finance Manager will lead monthly, annual, and long term sales planning and reporting for the Roofing Systems (RS) division.

In addition, provides commercial controllership and internal control, and will lead business pricing analysis along with profitability and market analysis.

This position requires the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data and develop action plans to meet business objectives.

The Commercial Finance Manager must also have the interpersonal skills and leadership abilities to successfully collaborate with others to implement recommendations and change initiatives.

  • Actively lead process simplification and ERP initiatives and assure compliant internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
  • Lead the monthly and annual Commercial Finance forecast / planning process for RS
  • Drive the annual strategic planning process for Commercial Finance inputs and modeling
  • Lead working capital optimization through improved credit terms and improved inventory demand planning
  • Identify appropriate performance based metrics
  • Interacts heavily with RS Sales and Commercial Operations leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team :

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of progressive financial management experience and 2 years in a financial leadership role
  • Proven leadership ability and experience driving team performance
  • Proven ability to drive performance improvements, and implement controls environment
  • Experience and proficient in the development and use of performance based metrics, scorecards, etc.
  • Strong people and presentation skills
  • Strong people development skills with a proven ability to develop financial talent, provide growth opportunities and optimize performance
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong decision making and problem solving skills
