Job Details
MUST HAVE certification in Workday Financials. If you DO NOT have a certification you will NOT be considered.
MUST HAVE :
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working with Workday, financials, integrations / implementations, and maintenance of modules.
- At least 2-3+ years of finance configuration / implementation experience in Workday. Will mainly be dealing with accounting, P&L, Balance sheet and true financial analysis reporting plus the implementation from a billing perspective.
Responsibilities :
- Support maintenance of Workday Financials configuration, including setup and functional configuration. Experience required in multiple modules such as : Financial Accounting, Projects, Project Billing, Accounts Payable, Expense, Procurement, and Planning
- Gather requirements for, create, and maintain data and configuration changes required to accommodate rapid organizational and business process requirements
- Work closely with the business teams to understand system pain points, determine root causes, and develop solutions to address short and long-term issues
- Implement solutions through successful design, development, testing, and deployment with required documentation
- Support major Workday FIN releases by researching new functionality.
- Communicate, educate, and collaborate with finance and procurement partners on new functionality and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage support tickets ensuring thorough, timely work and compliance with documentation procedures in ticket tracking system
- Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Design and develop custom reports as required for business users
- Configure and administer security in compliance with policies and procedures
- Support Workday Release activities
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- At least 2-3+ years of finance configuration / implementation experience in Workday and payroll
- Understanding of basic bank coding, inventory modules, and billing migrations
- Understanding of Finance and accounting processes, procedures, and best practices
- Completion of Workday certification in FIN and Reporting preferred.
- Strong background knowledge of accounting and financial concepts (GL close processes, consolidations, allocations, A / P, etc.)

Job Details
You will be responsible for the firm's financial operations, including accounting, AR / AP, FP&A, budgeting, treasury, and strategy including fundraising and board support.
You will work closely with Senior management to set the direction of the finance function and develop and implement financial plans that support the firm's growth and profitability.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of the firm's financial operations : including accounting, AR / AP, FP&A, budgeting, treasury, and strategy
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management and regulatory bodies
- Coordinate and prepare quarterly board packages for review and analysis by the Board of Directors
- Manage the KPI dashboard and work with company leaders to ensure forecasts and financial targets will be achieved and monitored on a monthly basis
- Own and keep the financial model updated
- Work closely with other company leaders to characterize and manage the firm's capital needs, including coordination of fundraising processes
- Conduct financial analysis and identify opportunities for improvement and areas of risk
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the firm's growth and profitability, including modeling acquisitions and deal structuring
- Comply with all applicable financial regulations
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, private equity, investment banking, or venture capital
- Knowledge of the wealth management industry either from direct experience or deals
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Thorough attention to detail and accuracy
