Who are we?

We are a small, but fast growing and successful national law firm focused on representing individuals who have been harmed by corporations and organizations that have put profits before people's safety.

Examples of cases we are currently handling include the chemical Roundup which causes cancer, Camp Lejeune toxic water (causing cancer and other serious illnesses), and sex abuse cases against Boy Scouts of America and other defendants.

No familiarity with any of these cases is required as we will provide all training needed.) We are currently representing thousands of individuals nationwide who have been harmed and need our help.

Who we are looking for?

We have an immediate opening for a detail-oriented and energetic team player - with an excellent work-ethic and a passion for learning - to join our close-knit team for a full-time Legal Assistant.

Must be committed to providing excellent customer service.

Duties : Client Management :

Client Management :

  • Gather preliminary case information.
  • Answer phones and field general questions and concerns for existing clients.
  • Keep clients informed with regular status updates.

Case Management :

  • Communicate with clients and medical providers to gather case documentation and evidence.
  • Ensure all medical bills are reconciled and paid
  • Participate in client meetings and telephone conferences
  • Review client medical records to locate key words, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment to support client's claims.

Administrative :

  • Working up cases using our case management software, Law Ruler and Google Spreadsheets.
  • Track case expenses
  • Data entry in case management system

  • Desire to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
  • Extensive experience using MS Office Products(strong emphasis on Word and Excel) and Needles a plus
  • Goal-oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Must be compassionate and assertive
  • Previous work in customer service, legal, medical, or insurance office helpful
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with a strong personality
  • Should possess editing, proofreading, and electronic formatting abilities
  • Solid work-ethic. Reliable and dependable
