Your opportunity
The Candidate will bring a broad set of knowledge across various Investor Relations, Fund Admin Functions and establish a scalable framework.
The candidate will leverage and coordinate the capabilities of JHI Operations, Distribution and Outsource Partners. Candidate will manage a small team of direct reports as we scale the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational workflows, implementing best practices, and driving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities :
Relationship Management : Serve as the main point of contact for our outsourced relationship with administration & client providers, fostering a strong working relationship and ensuring effective communication channels.
Collaborate with JHI Operations and outsource providers to align operational processes, workflows, and best practices, ensuring seamless integration between systems and platforms.
Coordinate regular meetings and calls with Outsource providers to address operational queries, discuss process enhancements, and resolve any issues or concerns.
Operational Oversight : Provide Oversight of day-to-day operational activities related to fund clients, including investor onboarding, fund subscriptions, and capital calls / distributions, to delivery best in class client experience.
Work with Compliance and Legal to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, working closely with internal compliance and legal teams.
Monitor and continuously improve operational workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct regular assessments of operational risks, implement risk mitigation strategies, and maintain strong internal controls.
Data Management and Reporting : Manage the accuracy and integrity of data related to GPs, Clients, and funds, internally and through our outsourced partners.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients, including capital account statements, investor reporting, and performance updates.
Coordinate with outsource partners to reconcile data between their platform and internal systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Relationship Support : Address operational queries and issues raised by clients, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and enhance operational processes, leveraging outsourced resources to drive efficiency.
Team Leadership : Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
Foster a strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and commitment to excellence within the operations team.
Project Manager : Drive critical initiatives across Privacore, taking responsibility for project management, and coordination internal teams and external partners, to deliver in a timely and efficient manner.
Understanding of the core tenants of project and program management is a key aspect of the role.

Must have skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management within the financial services industry, preferably in the private asset environment.
- Strong knowledge of fund operations, investor onboarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with alternative investment products, including private equity, private debt, and real estate.
- Demonstrated ability to streamline processes, implement operational best practices, and drive efficiency.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including CRM platforms, investor portals, and fund administration tools.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $190,000-$200,00. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Annual Bonus Opportunity : Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits.

Your opportunity
- Manage the research analyst / gatekeeper client experience by developing and broadening Janus Henderson’s scope of business with assigned Strategic Accounts and forge new relationships with emerging clients
- Utilize knowledge of clients gained through ongoing relationships to develop and implement customized client sales and marketing strategies in partnership with the Account Managers
- Responsible for placing Janus Henderson Investment Products on Recommended’ and Preferred’ research lists at our select dealer firms
- Partner with marketing to create presentation materials (graphics, etc.), provide content and data analysis, and enhance the creation of thought leadership content
- Maintain awareness of competitive industry trends to provide technical investment information to clients
- Partner with senior leaders / centers of influence to further our engagement with our clients’ senior leadership teams
- Potential responsibility for the development of new / emerging clients as assigned
- Represent all Janus Henderson product offerings and collaborate with key external & internal stakeholders (Sr Leadership, Investments, Field Sales Directors, Account Managers, Analyst Relations, Retirement, Marketing, PCS and Offshore) allowing you to further develop and broaden our scope of business with clients
- Liaise with National Account / Analyst Relations teammates on various client requests that require collaboration with various internal teams.
These internal teams may include but are not limited to PCS, Operations, Marketing, Events, Legal, Analyst Relations, Product Development, Offshore, and Retirement
- Expand Janus Henderson offerings on client platforms with new placements and retain current products on client platforms
- Develop a keen understanding of your clients’ business model allowing you to assess new opportunities for Janus Henderson to partner or build new product offerings that fill a platform gap

- Minimum 7 years financial services industry experience as an Analyst Relations Professional or related position required
- Direct client coverage experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- CFA required
- Series 6 and 63 & 7 licenses required
- In-depth knowledge of investment products and financial services industry.

Your opportunity
- The Data Scientist will bring thought leadership in the delivery of analytics and machine learning by analyzing drivers to understand the relative impact of opportunity, behaviors, and effectiveness to drive JHI’s distribution strategy and streamline client reporting by using analytics and machine learning
- Partner with all areas of the Enterprise to find opportunities to leverage data science capabilities and deliver creative solutions
- Lead cross functional programs and projects to deliver business intelligence through data science
- Monitor market, role, and location-level performance to diagnose opportunities that inform practice management activities which improve our sales practices
- Deliver simple, consistent and streamlined dashboards for leadership to identify key gaps in performance and mentor to stronger business outcomes
- Develop effective relationships with business areas, data operations, technology and risk to oversee the delivery of data-related services to the organization

- Masters or PhD in mathematics, computer science, statistics, machine learning with over 7 years' experience in leading small-mid data science organizations required
- In-depth background in data science that includes behavioral analytics, statistical analyses, and machine learning with experience in the asset management industry
- Have a demonstrated history of execution excellence and help drive prioritization and negotiation across the user-base to identify and deliver on high impact initiatives
- Stay abreast of modern data mining, quantitative research, and data science techniques (e.g., decision trees, linear / multinomial logistic / ridge regressions, collinearity analysis (VIF), machine learning, string similarity, behavioral analytics, look-a-like models)
- Have the expertise to right-size an analytical approach to the complexity of the problem
- Can think both independently and collaboratively to implement creative solutions that solve business problems, being diligent in the detail while maintaining focus on broader purpose and business objectives
- Proven ability to summarize key information and presenting recommendations to multiple stakeholders to influence senior management and non-technical audiences
- Expertise in asset management process-related data, with the ability to fluently communicate with investment management business professionals to gather and understand requirements and solve problems
- Knowledge and experience with some or all of the following data domains : client master, product / fund master, portfolio master, and distribution data
- Self-motivated, driven and solution-oriented, with a proven track record of execution
Nice to have skills
- Machine Learning expertise required. Deep Learning or Natural Language Processing experience a plus
- Previously worked in asset management supporting business intelligence for distribution and / or investments across design and measurement (A / B test), multi-arm bandits, causal inference, forecasting, and prediction
- Have programming skills needed for both the computational aspects of big data as well as working with statistical models (e.
g., complex SQL scripts, distributed computing, analysis using Jupyter Notebooks)
- Proficient with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBI)
- Experience with Digital Analytics tools such as Data Bricks (or similar) for AI / ML, shell scripting is a plus)
- Familiarity with cloud data stores; both SQL and no-SQL (Azure SQL, Cosmos, Snowflake)
- Experience with or exposure to enterprise data architecture and design
- Experience in data modeling
- Experience analyzing large scale datasets across marketing, distribution, and product data
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the business
