Director of Finance
To support the timely implementation, adjustment and monitoring of budgets for the Indianapolis Campus and provide management and leadership over the payroll process and grant programs Update position control and ensure accurate time certification for grants and contracts.
Maintain proper control and oversight of campus purchasing card program. Provide recommendations for enhancing the customer service and making processes more effective and efficient in all areas of responsibility.

- Assist the Executive Director of Finance with the implementation of annual budgets.
- Support campus staff with budgetary questions and concerns and recommend adjustments where necessary.
- Submit adjustments to EDF for review.
- Review budgets for proper accounting of revenue and expenditures and follow up on discrepancies.
- Periodically assist EDF with other duties assigned by the Chancellor.
- Payroll :
- Oversees the payroll function and ensures proper disbursement of earnings to all exempt and non-exempt employees in accordance with College policies and IRS and state regulations.
- Assists and works directly with employees of all levels in the College in matters related to payroll. Ensure quality customer service to the campus employees.
- Reviews processes and procedures within the Payroll department to ensure not only effective and efficient operations, but to ensure proper internal controls are in place to prevent any misuse or inappropriate disbursement of College funds.
- Reviews and approves handwritten check requests as necessary. Implements controls necessary to reduce hand-write requests to a minimum.
- Responsible for the preparation of payroll related journal entries for routine corrections and year-end processing.
- Ensure adequate back-up coverage for payroll processing. Purchasing Card
- Oversee the assignment of cards to employees.
- Ensuring that expenditures are valid transactions of the campus, allocated to the proper accounts and supported by proper documentation
- Grant Accounting :
- Assists and works directly with employees of all levels in the College in matters related to grants.
- Supervises and provide direction to Grant accountant.
- Fixed Assets :
- Review and verify alladditions and deletions from fixed asst inventory list. Supervises
- Directly supervises Payroll Supervisor and Grant Accountant.
- In conjunction with EDF, responsible for maintaining proper internal controls and ensuring compliance with College policies and procedures in all areas of responsibility.

Baccalaureate Degree in business, economics or finance required.

Automotive Recruiter
General Description of Position :
Responsibilities : Recruit qualified students for the Toyota T-TEN and GM-ASEP cooperative education, motorsports and motorcycle programs.
The recruiting territory would include all of the state of Indiana, the Western edge of Ohio, and the southern portion of Michigan for the GM ASEP and Toyota T-TEN programs.
For GM ASEP, Motorsports and Motorcycle repair this would also include northern Kentucky. Fully supports the College's mission and strategic plan initiatives.
Major Responsibilities :
- Deliver presentations to Career Centers, Vocational & Technical High Schools and other High School programs and events where students may have interest in the automotive industry.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions to develop presentation materials that support the recruiting activities such as power points, videos, brochures, etc.
- Attend and / or present at various career days, auto shows, and racing events
- Develop relationships and co-op opportunities with Toyota and General Motors Dealers in the market areas.
- Provide information required for prospective students to successfully enter the college system, including but not limited to information regarding enrollment steps, financial aid, career services, assessment, and credit transfer.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with high school guidance counselors, administrators, community agencies and other stakeholders.

- Ability to communicate effectively via email, IM and chat methods
- Use of PDA necessary for telephone, email and calendar scheduling while on recruitment duties.

WORK HOURS or OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The work-week and work-day hours will vary. Example : Recruitment for fall and spring semesters may require varied times which include evenings or weekends to meet with potential students.
The number of school visits would probably average around 40-50 different schools with follow up for some later in the school year.

Logistics Instructor
General Description of Position :
Help students to learn subject matter which will lead toward fulfillment of their potential intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth.
Provide instruction needed for students to qualify for certification in the respective fields. The logistics course provides students with the foundational and mid-level knowledge they will need to understand the world of supply chain and related core competencies.
This position is located at the Correctional Industrial Facility in Pendleton, IN.
Major Responsibilities :
- Teach assigned classes in keeping with approved syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials
- Understand and follow all special education laws and guidelines. Provide accommodations as outlined in an Individual Education Plan for students with identified exceptionalities.
- Approach subject matter in a positive and enthusiastic manner.

General Description of Position :
Under the direction of the Finance System Administrator, this position is responsible for maintaining the performance of the Ivy Tech vendor management process and other financial systems.
The Business Analyst is a member of the Ivy Tech System Administration (ITSA) team in Ivy Tech’s Business Affairs Finance Area.
The ITSA team is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of Financial applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the various financial system platforms.

Configure and Support Ivy Tech’s implementation and ongoing development of Workday applications as applicable.
