Warehouse Lead

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Lead to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre located in Stockton, CA! The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for leading and training employees in their group and perform all duties at the site to fulfill our receiving and shipping requirements.
These activities are to be conducted while ensuring and improving safety, quality, efficiency and housekeeping standard.
This role is a Night Shift role from 2 PM - 10 PM.

Responsibilities
- Required to be familiar with all stock items and their locations in the warehouse and also with the part number system.
- Required to locate items and accurately assemble orders in a reasonable length of time without supervision.
- Complete knowledge & utilization of the RF system.
- Report all accidents / incidents to the supervisor immediately. Collaborate, participate, and provide information during the accident / incident investigation.
- Perform cycle counts as needed including physical inventory type expectation.
- Meet departmental safety, quality and efficiency standards.
- Required to accurately load and unload trucks and receive production without supervision.
- Reasonable knowledge with all warehouse and shipping operations and their collaborations with other departments.
- Assist in keeping the warehouse area neat and clean with stock in order.
- Assist in many various warehouse projects such as installing and dismantling racks, etc.
- Required to check orders for accuracy that is assembled by their specific group.
- Responsible for performance of those people working in their team, insuring all functions are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Responsible for compliance, practice and observance of all written safety rules, policies and procedures as presented by the company.
Requirements
- Completion of a high-school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read and write in English.
- Experience operating various forklift equipment.
- Ability to meet daily needs and to work in an environment where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred, with RF scanners and technology.
- Ability to stay on your feet for long periods of time.
- Capability to be self-motivated and independent, but work well within a team.
- Good interpersonal skills as daily interaction is required with Supervisory personnel, and occasionally other departments.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
