What you'll do :

  • Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, and other media as part of site assessment and remediation activities on projects with petroleum, metals, solvents, and other common contaminants.
  • Oversee temporary and permanent monitoring well installations using various techniques, including direct push, hollow-stem auger, sonic drilling, etc.
  • Perform remediation system operations & maintenance (O&M) activities, which typically includes the collection of groundwater and air samples under various conditions (vacuum, pressure, ambient, etc.)
  • Perform Field Documentation / Report Preparation

What it takes to be successful in this role :

  • HS Degree or Equivalent required; AS or BS Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, or some Physical Science is preferred
  • 2+ years of previous experience in environmental consulting (soil and groundwater assessments), asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold inspecting, sampling, and remediation required
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge of equipment and systems used for environmental remediation and consulting preferred

Responsible for generating new business in an assigned territory (maintain positive customer relations with all parties interested in Intertek services within their defined sales territory (i.

What you'll do on the job :

  • Responsible for supporting with strategic plans to target clients in assigned territory, including monthly calls with key clients / accounts, calling new clients assigned on daily basis and evaluating areas / services that we can acquire more business from existing clients.
  • Schedule sales visits with clients, conduct regular meetings to include decision makers of accounts. Have materials and presentation ready for your meetings.
