Description
The Executive Assistant proactively anticipates needs to support a variety of administrative functions for the Nevada Region's Executive Medical Director of Patient and Provider Experience and Associate Chief Medial Officer in a time sensitive, accurate, and confidential nature using discretion and professionalism.
This role is in-office at 6355 Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday; standard business hours
Scope
Primary responsibilities include partnering with the leader on task management, project coordination, executive calendar, correspondence, travel / expense management, response to inquiries and requests, board and meeting management, and support of system service line needs and priorities.
The Executive Assistant provides advanced support of a technical nature including remote meeting management, facilitation of presentations, management of multimedia needs both by the leader(s) and meeting support, as well as post-meeting support.
This caregiver works as a competent member of the administrative team, willingly providing back up support when appropriate, and actively supporting team goals and priorities.
The Executive Assistant partners with their assigned leader(s) or designee and serves as a liaison with other internal and external stakeholders including local boards.
Under the direction of the leader(s), caregiver will coordinate special projects and initiatives. Work may be cross functional and involve multiple facilities, sites, and / or service lines / departments.
This caregiver will create and modify reports and presentations, track and influence performance metrics, and serves as a thought partner to their assigned leader(s).
The Executive Assistant may supervise other administrative caregivers.
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated experience supporting a director, multiple managers or functional area
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively without direct supervision
Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Demonstrated experience managing calendars, correspondence, travel / expenses, remote and in-person meetings
Demonstrated interpersonal verbal and written communication skills including tact, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and professional behavior
Demonstrated proficient time management, ability to prioritize and flex work to align with business operational priorities
Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities without loss of composure
Pay Range : $23.07-$35.13; actual rate determined based on experience and internal equity.
Physical Requirements :
Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.
Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, including manipulating paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
See and read computer monitors and documents.
Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

- A Medical assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs.
- A Medical Assistant will be responsible to communicate clearly with patients seeking care thru different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.
- Under the direction of the Clinician, the Medical Assistant will provide care to patients by assisting the provider to gather information that is relative to the patient’s visit and condition.

Minimum Qualifications
Medical Assistant Resident : A Medical Assistant Resident with no prior medical assistant experience learns to work as medical assistant in a clinical setting.
Entry Pay : $18.29+( Pay is dependent on years of relevant medical experience)
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Experience in a clinical role (EMT, CNA, Medic, paramedic) preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Medical Assistant :
A Medical assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs
Entry Pay : $18.83+ (Pay is dependent on years of Medical Assistant experience)
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date.
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or 1 year of Medical Assistant Experience or has a current RN / LPN license
- Preferred : Current national MA certification from one of the following national MA certifications or registrations : Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) of AMT, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) of the AAMA.
- Preferred : Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements :
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting / ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
This includes pushing / pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).
May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
