Summary / Objective
The Server is responsible for setting up the dining room for meals, serving residents, and cleaning the area after each meal.
S(he) will work cooperatively with other members of the department to ensure quality execution of food delivery and presentation, as well as helping to ensure the cleanliness of dining service facilities, including the dining and food preparation areas.
Essential Functions
1. Assists residents with the selection of meals
2. Delivers quality dining experience with courtesy, professionalism, and a high level of service
3. Assists with daily cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, taking out garbage, etc.
4. Assists cooks with food preparation or plating as needed
5. Ensures all remaining food is properly stored, dated, and labeled
6. Ensures all work areas are kept clean, dry, and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
7. Recognizes and / or informs residents of food restrictions or allergies
8. Ensures dining areas are properly set to Company standards
9. Assists with events conducted within the Community
10. Other duties as assigned
