Business Analyst
Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States.
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst located in the Washington, DC area to work for our company.
Summary :
- Client Agency is United States Secret Service, under DHS
- Provide Business Analyst support to an existing team with an ongoing project achieved through agile practices.
- Following orientation, this role will be fully remote.
Requirements :
- Must currently reside within the Washington, DC area.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working in high-energy, value-driven, time-sensitive development environments
- Support Project Manager with status reviews, sprint planning, and capturing meeting notes
- Provide day-to-day sprint activities achieved through agile practices, including but not limited to scrum calls, consolidated backlog creation / update, user story creation / update, backlog grooming
- Update and maintain the existing end-user manuals and software guides.
- Ability to perform Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); functional, regression, environment, and accessibility testing.
- Support monthly data clean-up, research and analysis as needed
- Support Program Management Operations (PMO) with related tasks and documentation creation
Preferences :
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (Scrum Master, Agile certifications, etc.)
