Marketing Specialist
Job Description
What we're looking for : An innovative marketer and creative writer focused on effective marketing execution across multi-channel integrated marketing communications.
Someone who can work across multiple teams while helping execute and implement against core marketing metrics. With a strong emphasis on copywriting and email marketing, the Marketing Specialist is a great storyteller and adept at presenting information effectively and creatively across diverse audiences and different channels.
- Write, design, and optimize multiple email marketing campaigns through Eloqua platform
- Build and manage email calendar and work to continually improve audience engagement efforts for both attendees and exhibitors
- Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and attendee development collateral, to increase sales and attendance for our events
- Collaborate closely with other internal teams (e.g. digital marketing, sales, creative, and marketing automation team) to develop, monitor, and adjust strategic marketing initiatives
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field
- Strong knowledge of various marketing tools including Eloqua, Adobe CC, Project Management Software, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and document management systems (e.g. SharePoint)
- Working knowledge of HTML, an eye for design, and great attention to detail
- Experience with email campaign strategy including segmentation strategy and content calendars
- Strong communication skills written, verbal, and presentation
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Bonus : Experience in the B-to-B exhibition space
- Ability to travel as necessary
