Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Container Security Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for securing containerized applications and integrating security products with our pipeline.
The ideal candidate should have experience in coding, containerization, Kubernetes, and network security. Familiarity with code scanning, Azure, and pipeline tools is a plus.
As a Container Security Engineer, you will implement and troubleshoot security tools, assist with deployment and access issues, and maintain code and pipeline functionality.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and potentially other languages.
- Integrate security products with our pipeline, ensuring smooth communication between the automation container and security apps.
- Understand container creation, DevOps / GitOps processes, and use tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Cloudbees.
- Implement container runtime security measures and Zero Trust policies.
- Troubleshoot and maintain security tools, resolving issues related to Kubernetes and security tools.
- Conduct code scanning to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Assist app owners with deployment, access, and runtime issues in Kubernetes.
- Fix network security and runtime blocks.
- Support pipeline-related issues and maintain its functionality.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Azure services and utilize them for containerized applications.
Qualifications :
- Proficient coding skills, especially in Python, and experience with web front-end development (React-js is a plus).
- Understanding of containerization, image building, and GitOps / DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of container runtime security, network security (API and east-west), and Zero Trust policies.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, troubleshooting related issues, and understanding Kubernetes objects' relationships.
- Familiarity with code scanning and its purpose / benefits.
- Familiarity with Azure and its services is advantageous.
- Ability to implement and maintain security tools, troubleshoot problems, and assist app owners and pipeline issues.
