Description
Under limited supervision, the Social Worker helps Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Support residents and their families navigate the life experience.
Assesses and advocates for residents' psychosocial well-being through care planning and coordination of services. The Social Worker may assist management, medical providers and care managers by acting as a consultant for residents with complex psychosocial needs.
Pay Range : $32 41 / hr
Part-Time 20 hours / week, flexible days and times
Essential Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Work Duties
- Ensures that residents' social service needs are identified, care planned and documented, and that appropriate action is taken;
- Assists residents and their families to navigate through internal CCRC levels of living;
- Helps residents negotiate the complex medical health insurance system, assists with appeals and other related advocacy and education.
Provides resources and / or referrals.
- Provides one-on-one counseling with residents and establishes support groups;
- Counsels and assists families with issues of aging or concerns relating to caring for a resident;
Education Required
Masters of Social Work Degree
Experience / Training
At least 3 years of experience working in healthcare setting, with geriatric clients / residents; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

- Starting at $14.50 / hour
The Mansion is located on a beautiful 10-acre campus on the Main Line, with shuttle services to public transportation available to team members.
To be successful in the role, you would have :
- Prior housekeeping experience (at least one year preferred).
- Experience working in hospitality, health care, or residential cleaning environment.
