JOB SUMMARY
At Houston Methodist, the Courier position is responsible for the transportation of medications, laboratory specimens, medical records, patient belongings, and other misc.
This position is also responsible for accurately sorting, organizing, and transporting specimens and medications between various pharmacy / laboratory locations, nursing units, and physician offices.
The Courier position performs deliveries accurately and efficiently within the allotted time standards and ensures deliveries are made throughout the Houston Methodist complex on a 24-hour basis.
This position must be able to communicate appropriately and work closely with other staff and co-workers.

JOB SUMMARY
At Houston Methodist, the Senior Medical Assistant Certified (Sr. MA) position is responsible for functioning as an expert and demonstrates highly competent knowledge in the more technical and advances examinations and treatments necessary to communicate appropriately and carry out delegated medical assistant level tasks under the direct supervision of a Physician and / or Registered Nurse for assigned patient populations, for providing high quality support of patient care and services.

Data Analyst
JOB SUMMARY
At Houston Methodist, the Data Analyst position is responsible for the provision of analytical support of data generated by the department.
This position will assist in creating, designing and implementing processes to ensure accurate data collection and input.
The Data Analyst position will assist with maintenance of department database and on-going training of end users. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting statistical information and patient outcomes to both external and internal customers which may include statistical power and sample size determination, inferential hypothesis testing, algorithm development and numerical methods, data mining and knowledge discovery in databases.
Reporting duties for the Data Analyst position will involve the provision of monthly departmental reports and ensuring timely regulatory reporting completion.
Additional responsibilities for this position include making recommendations for the implementation of technology and processes required to support the goals of the department with emphasis on regulatory compliance.

At Houston Methodist, the Physician Assistant (PA) functions as an advanced practice practitioner, responsible for maintaining and promoting the health of the patient requiring care, practicing medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician.
This position will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and preventative care, under the supervision of a physician.
