ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Ability to lift and move heavy products
• Ability to identify deficiencies in tools and equipment
• Must be detail oriented to ensure company procedures
• Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact with the public and other employees in a positive manner and promote a cooperative working environment
• Ability to solve problem with minimal redirection

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain and develop a computerized database tracking the current status, reconditioning and disbursement of equipment.
• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
• Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
• Receives products and coordinates delivery
• Prepares loads for shipment
• Takes steps to avoid quality control issues
• Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
• Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
• Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and / or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required
• Experience in logistics management preferred
• Minimum of two (2) year's Warehouse work experience
• Flexibility to work shifts in a 24 / 7 / 365 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs
