This is a highly visible, customer service role at Woodspring Suites. More often than not, you will be the face of the property and the first point of contact for our guests.
Responsible for office operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will successfully assure front office operations exceed standards.

Essential Functions :
- Schedule 25-27 hours per week (days vary by location and staffing need).
- Oversee the daily operations of the property in the absence of the Managers, including; reservations, renewals, check-outs, and check-ins.
- Review and approve transmittals and other front office paperwork and reports.
- Ensure team member attitude of attentiveness and anticipation of guest needs.
- Give tours to potential guests and be able to ask for and close the sale.
- Inspect studios for cleanliness and proper preventative maintenance.
- Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
- Respond to requests from immediate supervisor and follow up with immediate supervisor.
- Assist the Property Attendant in housekeeping with the day's needs.
- Wash, dry and fold laundry as needed.
- Administration of keys.
- Know property emergency procedures.
- Manage inventory and assist with budget control.
- Ensure proper uniform standards are followed throughout departments.
- Familiarize yourself with area attractions and services to accommodate guest's needs.
- Suggest / Sell services and amenities to accommodate guest's needs.
- Review studio inventory and work within guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining accounts.
- Make outgoing marketing calls and other various marketing activities as requested.
Qualifications :
- One-year experience in customer service; hotel operations preferred
- Knowledge of lodging point of sale systems
- Excellent communication skills needed to make outbound telephone sales call
- Bi-lingual preferred; must speak English
- Excellent oral, organization and written communication skills
- Have reliable transportation
- Self-starter able to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong organizational time management skills and problem solving skills

This is a highly responsible position in which the incumbent will live onsite and oversee the property after hours by making rounds through the evening, responding to guest's needs, and acting as manager on duty.

Essential Functions :
- This position working (6) days per week for 15 to 29 hours. An example of hours : 6 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am Monday through Friday and 2 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am Saturday, and / or all day on Sunday.
- 27 physical inspections of the property are required per week at various times set forth by the property manager and based on the property you can be asked to complete more rounds as needed based on the demands of business.
The inspection schedule includes :
- Three (3) rounds per night Monday through Friday
- Four (4) rounds on Saturday
- Eight (8) rounds on Sunday
- Incident Clock Response - The Safety Attendant responds to any type of problems or issues that occur during on-call hours.
The Safety Attendant is required to clock in and out for all incidents.
- Check in after-hours guests and walk-ins with or without reservations.
- Conduct a PMS system audit
- Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
- Respond to requests from immediate supervisor and will follow up

Typical daily responsibilities will include cleaning studio checkouts and stayovers, as well as public areas, landscape maintenance and general preventative maintenance.

Essential Functions :
- The work schedule may vary by location.
- Maintenance Duties : shampooing carpets, light electrical work (changing an outlet or wall switch), light plumbing (plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks, etc), studio preventive maintenance programs, preventive pesticide treatments, janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, drywall repair, painting and caulking.
- Maintaining the property and guest laundry facilities.

- In the event of staff shortage, the Property Attendant will perform stay-over cleans.
