The Data Analyst 2 is responsible for maintaining databases for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of operational data throughout the company.
This role is also responsible for entry, extraction, and complex ad-hoc reporting from various systems to support business objectives and the needs of the department.
Essential Functions :
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Downloads data from multiple system and reporting databases, develops and disseminates reports to end users
- Responds to data requests from management and performs basic reporting
- Develops and executes complex reports and custom queries
- Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends from various systems
- Maintains databases for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of operational data throughout the company
- Entry, extraction, and ad-hoc reporting from various systems to support business objectives and the needs of the department
- Provides report training to applicable departments / roles
- Creates and provides opportunity and market share reports and analysis using all applicable business reporting databases
- Informs marketing strategy by analyzing marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI, sharing insights about response rates across channels and audiences with Marketing Managers
- Perform analysis and creates insight that inform sales and marketing decisions in operations, sales, marketing, and support groups
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; BA / BS, Business or Data emphasis preferred
- Minimum of three years of work-related experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Strong knowledge of data analytics and applicable reporting tools
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and database management skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and deal effectively with employees and management
- Strong working knowledge and / or experience including but not limited to DBS, Tableau, Alteryx, WMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, MS Dynamics and Outlook
- Ability to think logically for interpreting and analyzing problems assigned or encountered
- Ability to identify problems and to review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a diversified team

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time, Field Welder / Machinist position available at one of our South Texas locations.
Hours are full time Monday Friday 7 AM - 4 PM, with possible overtime hours. This position is responsible for providing heavy equipment welding and machinist repair service to meet our customer's needs.
Job Description :
This position is responsible for providing equipment welding and machinist repair service to meet our customer's needs. This service needs to be performed in a positive, caring, and timely manner.
A qualified candidate must perform complex machining and stick welding repairs correctly.
Qualifications :
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities :
- Must have 2-5 years of Welding and Machinist experience.
- Stick welding and Flux Core experience are required .
- Must have a valid driver's license .
- Ability to obtain a CDL is required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be a self-motivated, thoughtful individual with a high energy level who can work well in a shop environment.
- Must be able to get along well with other employees. Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work the required hours and days as described above.
- Must have excellent attendance.
- Must have a steady employment history.
- Heavy equipment welding experience is highly desired.

The Parts Warehouse Clerk is responsible for responding to customers' needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
Must also provide prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities.
This requires working independently, with a specific direction, or as a member of a team.
Essential Functions :
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
- Maintains all company equipment, warehouse environment, tools, and work area in a good, clean, and working order
- Completes all parts order pulling transactions for external and internal customers in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Completes all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to ensure proper inventory status in the parts warehouse.
To be monitored by management observation and stock order analysis reports, as well as daily and year-end physical inventories.
- Maintains parts operations office, warehouse, and outside yards, so that they are neat and orderly as assessed by the department manager
- Develops sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs as determined by performance review goal setting guide for self-improvement and achievement of other KRA's
- Completes internal parts orders and identifies parts for return communicates job status to supervisor as needed
- Learns how to place 3rd party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders through the CODA system
- Works overtime as required by workload
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines including; order pulling, job-related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and procedures
- General knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware
- Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
- Equipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair including an overhead crane
- Ability to operate a conventional forklift
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions
- Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand information
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least two years of experience preferred
