POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Administrative Assistant’s primary focus is providing highly confidential administrative support to the CEO and Senior Level Executives.

They must be able to manage and coordinate a variety of departmental activities under limited supervision. Individual is expected to be aware of business activities and events as they relate to the areas.

It is anticipated this individual will foster a collaborative work environment. It is essential that this person has excellent judgment and discretion when interacting with others and in managing information.

Ideal candidate is professional, organized, able to multitask, strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and has strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide administrative support for the Executive team by providing a myriad of support tasks to successfully meet program goals and responsibilities.
  • Managers calendars, arranges travel and coordinates meetings and special events.
  • Answering and responding to incoming phone calls, emails, texts, and online scheduler inquiries in a timely manner
  • Provides detailed responses to requests for information, and overall office management.
  • Take inventory of green bag supplies (customer gift bags) and orders green bag supplies when needed.
  • Booking and managing travel and expenses, coordination of internal meetings and functions, schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, set up video and conference calls, register and greet visitors, catering coordination and set-up.
  • Ensure equipment is working and available (copiers, printers, fax, etc.)
  • Draft communications for CEO to include company-wide messages.
  • Develops PowerPoint presentations for Company town halls.
  • Record and distribute meeting notes; record, distribute and track meeting action items and handle other routine communications.
  • Experience working with remote employees and managers.
  • Prepares board packages using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Support the Finance Department with light accounting projects.
  • Maintains good public relations and interacts with customers and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Class A Transport Driver

Overview

Job Summary (Purpose) :

The Transport Driver drives a tanker truck (11,400 gallon capacity) to pick up propane at the supply point (e.g. refinery, pipeline terminal, storage facility) and deliver it to area AmeriGas facilities.

The driver will make four to five pick-ups and deliveries per day, driving an average of 500 miles per day and working up to 14 hours per day.

Approximately 80 percent of the driver’s time is spent driving or waiting in line at the supply point.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Drive the tanker truck to pick up propane at the refinery and deliver to area AmeriGas facilities; approximately 45 minutes is required to load or unload the truck.
  • Attach terminal hoses to the truck connections to pump propane into the tanker.
  • Use permanent hoses attached to the filling ports or the hoses stored in the truck to unload the tanker. The hoses stored on the truck come in two sizes : 20 feet long, three inches in diameter;

and 19 feet long, 1½ inches in diameter.

  • Perform twice daily truck inspections.
  • May climb ladders at some AmeriGas facilities to check gauges at the top of the bulk tanks.

Education and Experience Required :

  • 3 Years Tractor and Trailer Experience. 200,000 miles minimum
  • 1 Year Tanker Experience within the last 3 years, preferred
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
  • Eligible for a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
  • No Accidents in the Previous 3 years
  • No More Than One Moving Violation in the Previous 2 years

Job Summary

The Delivery Representative is a key point of contact for customers and must be committed to meeting the needs of all customers.

Delivery Representatives are safe, dedicated, and responsible people who can excel in a fast-paced work environment and possess exceptional customer service skills.

Delivery Representatives should be equipped with the technical skills to safely operate both propane and large cylinder trucks, as well as fill and deliver propane tanks, large cylinders, and gas grill cylinders.

They are responsible for making safe deliveries to residential, commercial / retail, and industrial customers. Delivery Representatives are expected to operate on a rotating on call schedule to cover any off-hour customer emergencies and may work non-traditional schedules to meet customer demands.

  • Delivery representatives will be provided voluntary opportunities to travel domestically to deliver to locations across the country.
  • Candidates should ideally have experience driving single / dual axel bulk, beverage and / or flatbed trucks and propane / fuel experience is a plus.
  • Within first six months in the position, incumbent must meet training and certification requirements for delivery work.
  • Training for basic service work will be provided.
  • Delivery Representatives must possess a safety mindset beyond any other attribute, which means they must demonstrate in all circumstances an understanding of the importance of safety to the company, consider the impact on safety when making decisions and model safety practices in a predominately remote working environment.
  • Delivery Representatives must demonstrate high professional and personal standards, which includes but is not limited to treating all people fairly and with respect and handling confidential information appropriately.
  • Delivery Representatives must have strong communication skills, which means they must be able to listen and respond appropriately to others and be able to articulate ideas clearly, persuasively, and concisely.
  • Delivery Representatives must meet commitments, which means they are expected to see issues through to completion, to check with appropriate parties to ensure issues have been completely resolved, to find ways to overcome barriers that initially prevents oneself from immediately solving problems and getting the job done.
  • Delivery Representatives work as part of a team and therefore must contribute to the team’s success. This means they are expected to collaborate effectively with others, complete work to enable the team to meet deadlines, shares relevant information, and solicit feedback from others

Essential Functions :

  • Access the work areas
  • Prepare a delivery vehicle for use
  • Operate a delivery vehicle between AmeriGas facilities and customer locations
  • Load / unload cylinders at an AmeriGas facility using either a flatbed truck at dock height or a cylinder truck
  • Exchange cylinders between a flatbed truck or a cylinder truck and storage cages at customer locations
  • Transfer propane into customer tanks
  • Refill a bobtail truck with propane
  • Operate a forklift
  • Performs all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures, utilizing all Personal Protective Equipment
  • Proactively identifies and reports safety concerns and violations at the plant or customer sites
  • Exceeds customer expectations and sustains high levels of customer satisfaction; seeks customer feedback and ensures their needs have been fully met
  • Cooperates and collaborates with co-workers to ensure the job gets done
  • Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
  • Assist with customary district maintenance / housekeeping and other duties as assigned such as repairing and re-qualifying cylinders, yard work, etc.
  • Perform critical demands / tasks in Work FIT screen as well as tasks in Functional Job Description (available to review upon request to Human Resources)
  • Ability to navigate an iPad and / or iPhone

Minimum Qualifications :

  • When applicable, required federal, state and local licenses / permits / certifications for work being performed
  • Valid CDL with HazMat and Air Brake endorsements
  • At least 21 years old per regulatory requirement
