We are looking for an experienced Server to join our team! You will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their dining experience with us by taking and serving food and drink orders and resolving customer issues.

You are passionate about food and dining and share that passion by going above and beyond for customers. A natural people person with an eye for the details, you are looking to join a hard-working and efficient team that cares about great food and customer experience. Responsibilities :

• Take orders from customers for food and beverages
• Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
• Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner

Qualifications :

• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask efficiently

Our servers are our ambassadors of aloha, capable of making guests feel welcome and appreciated in a busy restaurant. If you are a people person who thrives on interacting with guests, suggesting dishes and drinks, and working in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you! The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of Hawaiian food and culture and is a multi-tasker capable of talking-story to kama aina (local) and malihini (visitor) guests alike, while simultaneously ensuring that service to all tables continues to operate smoothly.

This position also requires being cross-trained in other FOH responsibilities such as host, take-out, and expo.

Duties include :

• Preparing tables
• Greeting and seating customers
• Preparing drinks and some food items
• Taking orders
• Delivering food and drinks to tables
• Accepting payments
• Suggestive upselling

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years waitstaff experience or in similar role; preferred experience in point of sale systems
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong attendance record
• Positive attitude
• Able to stand and / or walk continuously for long periods of time and in good physical condition
