Job Summary

This Position Is Responsible For Planning And Managing Projects Of Various Sizes And Complexity. Being Accountable For End-To-End Delivery Of A Project Including Managing The Cost / Budget, Schedule & Dependencies, Resources, Scope, Quality, And Risk.

Ensuring The Work Of The Project Is Aligned With The Stated Business Objectives; Providing A Blend Of Technical And Business Acumen To Drive The Design, Development And Implementation Of Strategic It Projects;

Building A Sufficient Level Of Knowledge Of It Products And Lob To Enable Targeted Probing Of Delivery Feasibility And Conflicts With Other Projects.

Setting And Managing Customer Expectations; Developing And Maintaining Relationships With Project Stakeholders To Obtain Project Objectives While Working In A Matrix Project Environment.

Driving Deliverables And Activities With Pdl And It Product Managers Or Their Program Manager By Removing Barriers, And Escalating Risk / Issues.

A Comprehensive Understanding Of Systems Development Lifecycles And Methodologies. Basic Understanding Of It Architecture, Infrastructure And Networking.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor Degree with 4 years project management experience OR Technical Certification or College Courses with 4 years project management experience OR 6 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with Project Management Methodologies (i.e. Project Management Institute PMBOK).
  • Knowledge of project financial tracking including monitoring and reporting on budget expenditures.
  • Experience in negotiations, influence others and managing conflicts.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work independently and within a team environment.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Leadership skills, including meeting facilitation.
  • Experience balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, Project and Lotus Notes

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with Lotus Notes.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing moderate to complex financial analyses and support for special projects; read / write basic SQL, manage data integrity, data reporting / analysis and to run large volumes of claims, membership & revenue data to utilize in shared savings modeling and analytics.

Ability to ramp up quickly to support all Medicare and Medicaid Value Based Care (VBC) financial performance metrics and risk sustainability analytics for all provider Government VBC contracts.

Understand attribution processes required for Government contracts with financial provisions; assist with the evaluation of all business needs and requirements needed to ascertain technical & financial requirements for Government LOB’s continual growth that is impacting the business area;

prepare all necessary financial analyses, periodic financial statements, and special reports for BCBSIL and / or subsidiaries.

In support of HCSC’s Blue Directions enrollment technology solution, this position is responsible for supporting client implementation of new and renewing business on the Employee Navigator portal, performing ongoing customer service and client relationship management, researching and ensuring timely resolution of open inquiries and concerns, and development and maintenance of process and requirements with internal and vendor stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Job Summary

This position is responsible for achieving profit, growth, service and expense objectives through the financial analysis and pricing of HCSCs RX business by quoting and rating proposals, projection renewal and the preparation of annual settlements and experience reporting.

Under minimal supervision, the Group Underwriting Consultant serves as an expert consultant on matters pertaining to underwriting, performance guarantees, and other financial considerations.

Provides underwriting services to determine pricing and monitors accounts to ensure they remain on a profitable basis. Maintains and applies knowledge of pricing strategies in the health insurance industry.

Required Job Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or accounting

Minimum of 5 years underwriting experience

Advanced knowledge of mathematical applications used in underwriting, including ability to calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, and percentages, as well as application of basic concepts of business mathematics and algebra in underwriting problems

Knowledge of State and Federal legislation togroup health underwriting

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred Job Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree in mathematics, accounting or similar field

Experience with major pharmacy benefit managers

Apply standard underwriting principles and procedures to evaluate risk for cases with the greatest complexity.

Work management skills in prioritizing and completing work to ensure deadlines are met.
