We are looking for a dedicated Medical Collections like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Collections Representative, you will contribute to the company's mission, vision, and values by completing follow-up and collections for patient services.

Under the supervision of the Business Office Manager / Business Office Supervisor, you will obtain payment from third party payers and self-pay accounts to enhance cash flow and gather reimbursement based on established contracts.

What you will do in this role :

  • You will perform follow up activities on accounts to ensure prompt payment
  • You will identify coding or billing errors from EOBs and work to correct them
  • You will monitor insurance claims and contact insurance companies to resolve claims
  • You will update the patient account record to identify actions taken
  • You will assign bad debt to the collection agency
  • You will act as a liaison accounts and administer contracts in collection of third party accounts (Medicare and Medicaid)
  • You will complete account reconciliation of accounts turned over to outside agencies
  • You will negotiate payment plans on self-pay accounts
  • You are responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and creating a reduction in bad debt

Qualifications you will need :

  • Minimum (1) year of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred. (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office) preferred
  • Knowledge of managed care payers and medical terminology is preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications

Medical Coder-ASD

As a Medical Coder, you will contribute to the company's mission and vision by reviewing medical record documentation. You will apply appropriate coding based upon the diagnosis and procedure guidelines for code selections that adhere to HCA-ASD Coding Compliance Policies and Procedures.

What you will do in this role :

  • You will code outpatient surgery center(s) records in a timely manner, including the assignment of ICD-10-CM, E / M, Procedure Categories, and HCPCS / CPT procedure codes
  • You will code an average of 80-150 charts per day
  • You are responsible for resolving codes and diagnosis with conflicting or unclear information by utilizing the query tool to gather additional information
  • You will ensure 3M encoder updates are timely and accurate
  • You will bill cases by furnishing completed assessments of billing supplies and implants
  • You will be assisting with preparation for accrediting bodies and / or state reviews
  • You are responsible for reviewing official data quality standards, coding guidelines, company policies and procedures, and clinical resources to assure coding knowledge and skills remain current

Qualifications you will need :

  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrators (RHIA) college degree preferred
  • Minimum (2) years' experience in outpatient coding and / or Health Information Management required
  • Minimum (1) year of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office)
  • Completed coursework in Human Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Introduction to Coding (including ICD-10 and CPT) preferred
  • Successful completion of an ICD-10-CM training or certification curriculum; or if currently pursuing such, then completion of 50% or more of the curriculum to date with an expectation of finishing within 2 months after hire.
  • Must provide certification from a recognized professional coding organization, transcript from an educational institution, or similar proof of successful completion (i.

e., competency assessments).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Data Analyst II is part of the Clinical Services Group (CSG) Data & Analytics organization of HCA Healthcare. This team, both technically-focused and hospital-facing, is responsible for HCA's enterprise clinical reporting.

With a goal of reducing avoidable variation in clinical practice, it has proven successful through targeted programs that leverage actionable and transparent analytics to drive positive change.

The Data Analyst II is responsible for the development of technical requirements and programming logic for new clinical and operational process metrics.

The Data Analyst II must understand database architecture and ETL concepts to ensure alignment with enterprise data management standards.

This position requires working with cross-functional teams to translate business and clinical needs into actionable reporting, and a willingness to learn the subject-matter necessary to develop and implement clinical data requirements.

The Data Analyst II must possess superior analytical and SQL query skills, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal , possess servant abilities, have relationship building skills, portray a professional presence, and have a proven track record of delivering high quality results.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately interpret and translate clinical business requirements into technical requirements
  • Model database artifacts using PowerDesigner based on data and visualization requirements or platform-specific needs
  • Query various databases using advanced SQL. Database platforms include Teradata, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Create ETL solutions using SSIS for loading data from various sources : databases, CSV files or Excel files
  • Develop programming logic for clinical and operational data metrics and visualizations
  • Participates in QA process by performing testing on SQL queries to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with other CSG Data Organization team members, clinical stakeholders and ITG colleagues.
  • Maximize productivity and accountability through effective time management, coordination, and communication
  • Responsible for compliance with Internal Audit standards for information protection and business processes
  • Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 years of experience with data architecture - table modeling (using PowerDesigner) and creation, view and stored procedure creation
  • 2-5 years of experience with ETL software (Visual Studio, SSIS, BTEQ)
  • 2-5 years of experience with database management systems (Teradata and SQL Server primarily)
  • Some experience with BI platform development (Microsoft Power BI)
  • Some experience with application development software like PowerShell is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in nursing data domain is a plus
  • HCA-based systems experience is a plus

What you will do in this role :

You will prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs

You will assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals

What Qualifications you will need :

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting OR current Medical Assistant certification

Candidates with one year of Medical work experience who do not possess Medical Assistant Certification must obtain Certification within one year of hire date

Medical Assistants who recently graduated from a Medical Assisting training program will obtain a clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment

Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification / ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred
