Job Description

Harmony Senior Services is hiring for a Marketing Assistant to work from our Home Office in downtown Charleston, SC. A well-suited candidate will be a collaborative and detail-oriented member of our marketing team with experience balancing multiple projects and deadlines with a passion for organizational processes.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with marketing team, vendors, and other departments within Harmony will be a daily requirement.

This position will need agility in accepting new projects as well as revisions to make existing work more efficient and effective.

The understanding and execution of organizing according to the company's existing standards is required.

Additional Skills and Qualifications :

Administrative Abilities : The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for entering monthly purchase orders according to insertion orders created and maintained by the Corporate Director of Marketing.

This role will also reconcile any necessary purchase orders against invoices received by Accounts Payable to ensure the accurate creative charges were applied.

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the marketing department to develop and track external email marketing campaigns as well as internal communication for marketing programs.

In addition to other opportunities in creative and marketing duties, the Marketing Assistant will review the quarterly marketing plans to ensure the proper collaterals, materials, and scheduling are adhered to.

Communication Strengths : The Marketing Assistant will maintain an inventory and directory of sales support collateral materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new collateral creation as needed.

This role will require consistent and clear communication between our Marketing Agency and the Corporate Director of Marketing to ensure accuracy of the schedule, billing, and creative of the portfolio's campaigns.

The Marketing Assistant will communicate regularly with the Accounts Payable department and the Corporate Director of Marketing in order to ensure all invoices are billed correctly according to the purchase orders.

Collaboration Skills Effectively communicate ideas, questions and suggestions with the marketing team pertaining to email marketing execution, new hire training standards, quarterly marketing plans, and purchase order processing.

The ability to brainstorm creative opportunities in an effort to build the content's effectiveness to our target audience is valued and appreciated.

Requirement

Education and Experience :

  • Education : The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing or a related field. 2+ years of equivalent working experience is also acceptable for the position.
  • Experience : Microsoft Office, Dropbox, CRM utilization, and Project Management Software
  • Experience with Adobe Design Suite is preferred but not required.
