Marketing Manager

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing Manager is tasked with creating, coordinating, and executing the Company’s marketing research and strategy.

Focusing on all advertising-related media inclusive of digital, traffic generation, collaterals, promotional events, and public relations activities.

Compensation :

$60,000 - $85,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Lead, coach, mentor and manage the marketing team to ensure top performance.
  • Manage the marketing trade partners for all Company marketing needs both print and digital.
  • Write website copy.
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure communities are marketed appropriately and effectively.
  • Create and manage the Company’s marketing strategy, while identifying efficient and effective solutions.
  • Formulate and stay within the marketing and advertising budget for the Company in conjunction with the Division Presidents.
  • Manage all public relations and create press releases for the Company.
  • Work in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer to adjust market strategies to remain competitive with the market.
  • Responsible for coordinating special projects to communicate with all associates and builder partners via newsletters, training, and / or orientation manuals.
  • Oversee all Corporate events for staff, building partners, and charity.
  • Create all collateral material to include floorplans, renderings, standard feature lists, points of interest about the area, site plan displays, inserts, and price sheets.
  • Assist the Chief Operating Officer in the evolution of home plans for new product development, and the development of standard features and amenities of new products.
  • Maintain the library of photographs to be archived and utilized for marketing each community within the Company. Provide creative direction to the photographer for images to be captured and virtual tours as needed.
  • Coordinate Company awards with the help of the marketing team.
  • Coordinate, execute, and attend a variety of functions including community openings, community events, and Realtor® events.
  • Continually research marketing strategies, platforms, and innovations to ensure we are at the forefront of our industry.
  • Assist with marketing budget development.
  • Assist with marketing plan development.
  • Create the process and model for new community Grand Openings.
  • Monthly competition reports.
  • Oversee maintenance of the company database for direct or digital mail campaigns on a continuing basis.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of homebuilding marketing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a manager or director in marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Microsoft Office Suite, Zonda, MarketNSight, google analytics, and marketing platforms.
  • Requires resourcefulness, patience and clarity, and strong management and motivational skills.
  • Team Player with a great attitude, emotional intelligence, and driven to results.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical analysis abilities and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to take the initiative, be creative and take ownership.
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail, and be very well organized.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude, deal effectively with demanding situations and maintain objectivity with homeowners, fellow associates, and in all public relations
  • BA or MBA preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a similar field is required.
  • Some overall residential construction knowledge.

Marketing Coordinator

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is tasked with implementing corporate and community-level marketing initiatives, branding, and advertising plan to support the sales development of the Company.

They will have experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including email marketing, CRM systems, digital marketing, advertising, and social media.

An ideal candidate for our team should be marketing-driven. They should be creative, highly organized, quick to act, detail-oriented, able to follow and maintain procedures, meticulous about spelling and grammar, and can work with a variety of teams.

Compensation :

$40,000 - $60,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Create and implement approved marketing strategies in accordance with objectives and budget limitations
  • Customize ad templates to meet local market needs, incorporating specific calls-to-action / offers
  • Create and distribute email marketing strategy per community including Realtor® communication
  • Coordinate, execute, and assist with special community events and neighborhood openings
  • Maintain accuracy of all community pages and provide necessary creative assets (photos, video, copy, announcements, and inventory listings)
  • Update and maintain Company website content, social media, etc
  • Order and manage creative assets for communities
  • Create and order community brochures and collateral
  • Coordinate marketing for new community launches
  • Coordinate approved community signage, collateral, and sales office needs
  • Coordinate completed home photos and community videos
  • Provide community-level marketing point-of-sale materials such as displays, flyers, and inserts. Order, install, and ensure the integrity of signage, flags, welcome mats, etc
  • Track and process invoices relating to marketing plan execution
  • Attend bi-weekly Sales Meetings
  • Provide ongoing community presentation audit / assessment from consumer's point-of-view
  • Provide analysis and reporting of campaign successes and failures
  • Create, monitor, and report on digital marketing for the Company
  • Keep up to date on building industry trends and marketing tactics to make recommendations for community marketing plans
  • Work with the sales team to facilitate communication, and feedback, and make improvements to the marketing plan
  • Create and manage lifecycle email communications in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with the goal of nurturing and converting prospects to a community visit
  • Enter MLS listings where applicable

Qualifications :

  • Past work experience in marketing or advertising
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing including content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing
  • Exceptional writing skills for various mediums and marketing channels, including website copy, email, social media content, and print marketing collateral
  • Experience with SEO
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Office Suite and marketing platforms
  • Requires resourcefulness, patience, and clarity
  • Team player with a great attitude, emotional intelligence, and drive to results
  • Willing to take the initiative, be creative and take ownership
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail, showcase organizational abilities and leadership qualities

Preferred Qualifications :

Associates Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field or equal qualifications
