Position Details :
The Security Engineering Manager leads the team in the implementation, automation, and management of Grainger security tools.
You will provide guidance and set strategy as the team continues to improve Grainger security posture. You will act in a liaison capacity with other areas within Enterprise Systems, the business and company vendors or suppliers.
You will report to the Director of the Attack Surface Management team in Grainger Information Security Group.
Compensation :
This position is salaried and will pay between $126990-$195330 with a target bonus of 15%

You Will :
- Protect the integrity of Grainger information assets while enabling business functionality in all systems and environments by implementing applicable security solutions
- Engage and collaborate with direct reports on individual learning and professional growth plans
- Coordinate the daily activities of team members including maintenance support and technical project work to ensure performance objectives are met
- Contribute to Infrastructure Standards development, Tool Selection, and Documentation Management
- Lead development of security standards for Office 365 and other SaaS environments
- Manage the security engineering team project portfolio
- Administration, management, and continuous improvement of Grainger security tools Anti-Virus, EDR, UBA, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Network Security, Other
- Develop automation for management of systems and tools in a hybrid (multi-cloud, AWS) environment using Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages
- Develop and automate security processes by integrating security tools, ITSM systems (ServiceNow, Jira), Reporting / BI solutions (Tableau, Power BI), Other
- Collaborate with Grainger technology teams in development of process automation, solution development, systems hardening, and technical problem resolution
- Collaborate across Grainger to help with development and adoption of security best practices
- Develops, monitors, and assesses individual staff performance to provide feedback and promote team effectiveness
You Have :
- 3 5 years senior level technical experience in the following areas :
- Security Tool Management AV, EDR, IDS / IPS, Firewalls, SIEM, UEBA, Office 365 Security, Network Security, Other
- Scripting / Automation PowerShell, Python, Othero Enterprise Technology, on-premises, and cloud AWS, Office 365, Windows, MacOS, Linux
- 2 5 years people leadership experience
- Working knowledge of business and business strategy

Position Details :
You will oversee one of our nighttime Inbound / days Outbound operations teams in a high volume, order fulfillment, multi-shift distribution center.
You will be on the production floor teaching and coaching up to 25 team members to follow processes to ensure compliance with procedures, discover opportunities to improve processes, and promote programs that create an environment where team members are engaged and empowered.

- 1st shift Outbound operations works Monday through Friday
- 3rd shift Inbound operations : works an overnight schedule 4 nights per week; either Sunday night - Wednesday night or Monday night - Thursday night.
$6,000 annual shift differential)
You will report to a Manager, Distribution Process and this role is based in our Minooka, Illinois Distribution Center.
Compensation :
This role is salaried and our minimum target pay for the role is $65,000. This starting range provided is a minimum guideline.
Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include and not limited to : Candidate experience, qualification, geographical area and internal equity of the team.
In addition, our Supervisors working nights are eligible for a $6,000 annual / paid quarterly shift differential (subject to rules regarding policy)
You Will :
Gather and analyze production, safety, quality, cycle time, financial and other important data to understand the performance of your team.
Provide your team with coaching opportunities to help them improve. Communicate trends and issues to leadership team.
- Support Distribution Center wide projects and help ensure all deliverables (e.g. action items, process improvements) are completed by the commitment date.
- Create a positive workplace culture that strengthens team member engagement and ensures all team members are treated fairly, with respect, and have the tools necessary to perform their jobs.
- Commit to our culture of recognition, feedback, and development. Provide your team with coaching opportunities to help them improve.
This may include interviewing and training, assigning and directing work, identifying development goals, completing performance evaluations, and recognition and disciplinary action.
- Demonstrate root-cause thinking and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Focus on teaching and training - help team members understand why we follow standard processes and that they help foster the best customer experience.
- Follow existing audit systems to ensure compliance with company policies, and other governmental regulations (OSHA, DOT, and EPA)
You Have :
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- 2+ years previous leadership or supervisor experience in high-volume, multi-shift, order fulfillment distribution center
- Lift 60+ lbs. may be needed
- Self-motivated, curious, analytical and data mining skills
- Demonstrate and able to teach and develop direct reports
- Strong time management skills to plan shift
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel (can perform complex functions).
