JOB SUMMARY :
The Welder is responsible for prepping, assembling, repairing, and kitting our MIJ product line.
Salary : $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (Base Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, sills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Basic TIG, Sub Arc, or GMAW welding of carbon steel products
- Reads and interprets drawings (including weld symbols) and specifications for each job
- Familiar with GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, SAW, FCAW welding processes, as well as semi-automated weld experience
- Adjust welding machines to achieve desired results within parameters of established welding procedures
- Execution of work based on work orders and routers
- Transacting products to next stage in production utilizing ERP system
- Crating and kitting finished product for shipment
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard free work area
- Comply with all OSHA and company safety practices and regulations

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1+ years’ of TIG, Sub Arc, and / or GMAW welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and work orders preferred
- API / ASME Certified preferred
- Ability to work independently and with minimal direction or supervision
- Commitment to work safely in all aspects of the position
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Hard to Very Hard Work : Spending time in excess of 8 hours in a stationary position, generally standing. Physical demands may include stooping, kneeling, touching, feeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, positioning self to utilize equipment properly, and lifting and / or transporting items up to 35 pounds.
