The PA team covers all aspects of pre- and post-operative care, including ICU management.

Responsibilities :

  • PA Opportunity for Cardiac Surgery
  • Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years Critical Care or Cardiac Surgical ICU experience.
  • Rotating shifts, 24 / 7 service coverage with occasional night shifts and weekends. Competitive shift differential for weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Practice scope includes adult cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Responsibilities include daily rounds, caring for post-operative patients in the ICU and on the floor, admitting transfers from outside facilities and the emergency department, seeing consultations and potential opportunity to first assist

Qualifications :

  • We are seeking candidates with a background in cardiac surgery
  • Newly graduated PAs must have completed either a cardiac surgery rotation or a surgical critical care rotation to be considered
  • Graduate of NCCPA approved Physician Assistant Program
  • Massachusetts Physician Assistant License
  • NCCPA Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • BLS Certified
  • ACLS Certified
