Summary :

Responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance program for all slot machines, slot signage, ticket redemption machines and all other slot related equipment assigned.

Slot conversions, moving slot machines and minor slot repair. Assist Slot Technicians and / or Shift Management with any projects as needed.

Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and policies and procedures.

Essential Functions :

  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program for all slot machines and related departmental equipment, including but not limited, cleaning validators and ticket printers, cleaning monitors, and bringing machines up to manufacturer standards,
  • Repair minor slot machine issues as well as the break-down, relocation and set-up of slot machines, signage, and slot stands.
  • Walk the casino floor to verify slot machines and bill validators are operational, including but not limited to signage repair and light bulb replacement.
  • Ensure major slot machine repair issues are appropriately reported
  • Ensure slot repair shop is organized and clean
  • Assist Slot Technicians with slot conversions and projects, floor coverage and assignments when requested
  • Assist with slot system and machine updates
  • Bring dispute and unusual guest activities to the attention of management
  • Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations, internal policies and procedures
  • Promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service
  • Maintain positive working relationship with other departments
  • Cooperate and communicate with fellow employees in all departments.
  • Exhibit mutual respect and consistently projects a positive, helpful image / attitude
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Minimum three (3) months experience within a slot gaming operation or combination of experience and education in a field similar preferred
  • Ability to apply commonsense and Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in busy work environment while effectively multi-tasking
  • Ability to perform necessary functions in a timely manner with minimal and / or no supervision
  • Working knowledge of documentation required in transactions including machine entries, and machine repairs logs
  • Ability to operate equipment such as basic tools, two-way radios and any other specific tools required of the trade
  • Ability to operate computer equipment
  • Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Accurate money handling and documentation skills
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Present a professional appearance
  • Ability to effectively communicate in small group situations, as well as one-on-one
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
