Flight Attendants will be based at the following crew base :
Chicago, IL (ORD)
Flight Attendants must reside or be willing to relocate to within two hours of the Chicago-O'Hare Airport.
Minimum Requirements :
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID;
- Current passport or other travel documents allowing you to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple reentry status)
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents)
- Must possess excellent com munication skills and have a professional and conservative appearance;
- Must adhere to uniform standards and guidelines with no tattoos or body art visible at any time while in uniform. Examples of visible tattoo locations include, but are not limited to, hands, arms, neck, and face;
- Possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Read, write, and speak fluently in English. The ability to read and converse in another language is a plus;
- Must have 20 / 40 correctable vision in each eye;
- Must have a minimum height of 4'11" and a maximum height of 6'0" (without shoes);
- Must have the ability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends and extended hours away from home;
- Must be willing to work on an on-call basis;
- Must be able to relocate to assigned domicile;
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation to and from the airport;
- Must have the ability to walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward, fit quickly through the over-wing exit, and sit in the Flight Attendant jumpseat without modification or a seat-belt extension;
- DOT required pre-employment drug test;
- TSA required fingerprint check for Criminal History Records Check;
- Must have flown at least once as a passenger on an airplane;
Schedule
GoJet Airlines operates flights every day of the year, requiring Flight Attendants to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Flight Attendants bid on schedules and schedules are awarded based on seniority. Flight Attendants can expect to have a reserve (on-call) schedule during their first year of employment.
Salary & Compensation
Starting pay for a Flight Attendant is $19.58 per flight hour, with a guaranteed 75 flight hours per month. T he company pays for parking in domicile and all hotel accommodations while o n a company scheduled trip, as well as $2.
00 per hour in per Diem while away from base on a trip.
Training
Those selected for employment must successfully complete a company paid training program at our Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO as well as hands on evaluation in the aircraft.
Training is approximately five to six weeks in length (based on class size).
GoJet Flight Attendant candidates will be provided two complimentary training courses through the Inflight Institute. One short supplemental video course is mandatory prior to your interview, and a pre-course must be completed and have a 80% or higher score in order to attend our in-person training course in St Louis.
These modules assist future flight attendants to understand the journey they are about to partake in. The Inflight Institute offers many supplemental and aircraft courses.
These are not mandatory to receive an interview.

As a GoJet Flight Attendant, you will be the sole Flight Attendant on a 50-passenger aircraft flying for United Express.
The elite CRJ-550 aircraft is exclusive to GoJet Airlines and revolutionizing regional flying. Our Flight Attendants oversee safety and security from the boarding to deplaning process, while providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience.
GoJet Airlines is one of the only regional airlines that does not assign your base. The base you apply for is the base you are assigned to What you'll do :

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Two years' customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to make announcements, give emergency orders, and communicate in the English language
- Must be at least 21 years of age

- Must possess the legal right to travel unrestricted to / from all states and countries
- Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States
- Able to attend up to 6 weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO
- Able to be on call and available to report for duty in your assigned base (reserve duty). Reserve duty may continue for an undetermined amount of years.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions :
- Some physical exertion required such as the ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push-pull and lift heavy objects
- Long periods of standing and speaking
- Ability to work in small, confined spaces and deal with turbulence, dry air, and varying noise level from aircraft engines
- Extensive travel, must be able to spend consecutive nights away from home and endure all climates
- Alternative work schedules including holidays, evenings, and weekends
- Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem solving, complaint resolution and conflict de-escalation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; provide friendly reception to all customers
- Direct engagement with customers through outstanding communication skills, public speaking, good judgment, and ability to resolve issues with understanding, compassion, and perseverance
