Assistant marketing
Works closely with the Marketing leadership to execute marketing and business strategies for designated brands.

- Manages and maintains e-commerce and consumer websites and coordinates the development of annual product catalogs.
- Works with 3rd party vendors to execute sampling programs to launch new products.
- Develops marketing collateral, creates ad hoc Excel reports and charts, and designs presentations for management meetings and sales presentations, potentially presenting to buyers at annual meetings.
- Ensures marketing collateral (packaging, consumer facing ads, social media posts, website copy, etc.) is up to date and readily available whether writing copy, working with internal graphics team or managing an outside resource.
- Works closely with Merchandising Managers to develop and execute "Go To Market" calendar.
- Edits and proofreads both internal and external marketing communication materials.
- Develops seasonal promotional and campaign plans.
- Conducts monthly market analysis utilizing syndicated research and other research vehicles.
- Analyzes and reports on current business to help Merchandising and Design team develop product or drop non-top preforming skus.
- Works closely with outside agencies regarding marketing initiatives, i.e. : locates and researches agencies, negotiates prices, obtains service agreements, has agreements reviewed for legal compliance, etc.
- Monitors and assists in managing Facebook and other social media sites, including : posts, tweets, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

- University Degree
- 3-5 Years Relevant Experience
Attributes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Good verbal and written communication skills essential
- Marketing, Communications, or Business degree required; MBA preferred or working towards one
- Experience with Canva and NPD software preferred
- Ability to work in a team-based environment while self-managing with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information from various sources, and understand safety warnings
- Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate visual presentations
- Domestic travel required (10% of time)
