SharePoint Administrator

We are seeking a strong SharePoint Administrator to help build and maintain our mission critical software systems. Some of the projects you will work on include migrating file servers, other applications, various SharePoint versions to SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 Power Apps which span all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through production implementation.

Other project possibilities include maintenance and enhancement of existing websites using various other technologies. We seek individuals with experience, interest, and skill on either user interfaces or back end.

We are seeking a talented candidate with SharePoint development experience. This position can be worked either in Houston, Texas or 100% remotely from home.

We are a small team of skilled and dedicated SharePoint Administrators working closely together in an agile environment. We are excited to work with the latest technologies, take ownership of what we build, and have pride in the value we deliver to GFL's mission.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Supporting data migration and troubleshooting SharePoint sites and applications to resolution / remediation.
  • Candidate that has been part of building and managing corporate intranets.
  • Candidate that has been part of Office 365 SharePoint restructuring.
  • Supporting an enterprise-wide information and database management, quality assurance, change management, computer security, and development and enhancement of standards and procedures.
  • Performing adaptive maintenance to upgrade, convert or enhance the sites to adapt to changes in the requirements or the processing environment including, but not be limited to, upgrades or conversions of current content and functionality to adapt to enhancements made to the system.
  • Keeps apprised of Microsoft updates to SharePoint software.
  • Consults with management to devise the most useful ways to apply SharePoint to a business's goals.
  • Operational knowledge and understanding required to create site definitions and SharePoint site configurations / customizations.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of (or ability to quickly grasp) SharePoint Governance support, and back-office application support.
  • Microsoft Office 365 Administration including account provisioning / deprovisioning, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online.
  • Experience with major cloud IaaS provider (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.) with virtualized SharePoint, Microsoft SQL and / or Windows Servers.
  • Managing the SharePoint architecture (including supporting hubs, site collections, sites, and subsites) ensuring it meets the needs of the departments.
  • Supporting the operations and maintenance of SharePoint sites and applications to include site configuration and maintenance activities.
  • Supporting system administration activities to include account maintenance, system health monitoring, and troubleshooting with other groups on interfaces and performance within the infrastructure.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • Previous experience working with SharePoint is required.
  • Experience with the following is desirable : Sharegate Migration Tool, SP2013, PowerApps, Power Automate (Flow).
  • Minimum of six (6) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience.
  • Experience managing and administration of enterprise-level 0365 SharePoint Online, 2016, 2013.
  • Experienced as a SharePoint Developer and Administrator with a focus on needs analysis, design, build and go-live in addition to support for a large Microsoft SharePoint environment
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and providing customer support for service requests related to 0365 SharePoint and on-premises environment.
  • Experience working with Active Directory, PowerShell, JavaScript, and eDiscovery site collections.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 compliance controls such as DLP and RMS, preferred.
  • Experience with configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, writing, and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff
  • Experience managing a wide variety of projects related to SharePoint design with several departments / stakeholders
  • Occasional Travel (

Truck Driver

This driver will transport, remove, deliver, and collect various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from various customer sites.

Will be required to load and unload trucks. They will also have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment including vacuum trucks, box trucks, and any other equipment that fits their license on site if necessary.

Key Responsibilities : Must be able to drive manual transmission and have Airbrake, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.

  • Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, compliance with applicable Acts and regulations.
  • Familiarity and experience working with government documents such as manifests.
  • Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
  • Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, customs and immigration and weights and dimensions.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
  • Check vehicles before driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
  • Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Record and maintain required documentation including driver logbook, bills of lading, manifests etc. by manual or electronic means.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.
  • Deliver to product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Ensure that any debris caused by the loading / unloading of truck is cleaned up.
  • Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.
  • Train others when required.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements :

  • High School diploma minimum.
  • Certification from recognized Truck Driving School.
  • Valid Commerical Drivers License - CDL B or A
  • Overtime as required.
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission and Hazmat / Tanker endorsements.
  • Weekend work may be required, on call schedule in effect on weekly basis.

Driver-Dump Truck

Safely operate dump truck, with or without trailer, on assigned route / location to service customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Deliver collected solid waste or recyclables to landfill, MRF or transfer station.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate dump truck and on-board hydraulic systems on assigned route to collect solid waste and / or recyclables on a specified collection route.
  • Make sure each load is secure by checking that tarp is closed properly and that no loose trash is visible.
  • Ensure all trash is emptied out of the trailer when dumping a load.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor daily.
  • Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
  • Operate truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-induced mechanical failures.
  • Follow all safety standards, equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all federal, state / provincial, local and company rules on safety and vehicle operation.
  • Maintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle.
  • Ensure that all required personal protective equipment be worn at all times (i.e., gloves, reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.)
  • Report all accidents or incidents to supervisor(s) immediately
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, manner and appearance at all times (i.e., meeting customers and / or the general public while on route or in uniform.)
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed.
  • Work closely with supervisor to improve routing efficiencies.
  • Attend safety and branch meetings.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
  • May be required to work overtime.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
  • Possess valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • One (1) year of satisfactory driving experience of commerical vehicles preferred.
  • Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Ability to operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform job.
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with others.
  • Ability to write simple reports and correspondence such as pre- and post-trip inspections, accident reports, daily paperwork, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence and instructions such as company policies and procedures, etc.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under limited supervision.
  • Ability to use skill and experience in backing up the trailer.
  • Knowledge of air brakes on tractor trailer.
  • Ability to driver a vehicle that carries up to 80,000 lbs or 40 tons.

Physical / Mental Demands :

  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell.
  • Visual Requirements : include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus due to the constant maneuvering of vehicle in tight and high traffic areas.
  • Ability to regularly lift / move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift / move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift / move up to 50 pounds manually.
  • Sitting is required 75% of the time due to the primary function of driving.
  • Ability to work in usually loud conditions

Working Conditions :

  • Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, rainy / stormy, extreme hot and cold weather conditions (depending on season), moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes and airborne particles
  • Work in outdoor environment up to 100% of the time.

Summary of Essential Job Functions :

We are looking for a reliable Customer Service Representative to perform tasks that will help us grow our business and maintain current customers.

Pay Range : $19-$21

Following Duties Include :

  • Take care of customer's needs
  • Field phone calls and set up work orders and dispatch accordingly
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer issues
