Gemini is looking for a motivated individual with a deep understanding of the Web3 landscape to join as our Marketing Associate, focused on go-to-market planning and website management.
They will be responsible for coordinating go-to-market plans for major launches and leading the marketing plan for the gemini.
com website with an eye for SEO.
The ideal candidate will be interested in learning a variety of areas within the marketing organization, comfortable with setting up a project plan and leading cross-functional projects including major product launches, while maintaining a strong focus on results.
This is a unique opportunity to deliver on a global roadmap that will help drive crypto product adoption.
Responsibilities :
- Execute and evolve a multi-channel strategy that grows Gemini’s brand affinity, engagement, reach, and audience in order to drive membership growth and engagement.
- Create go-to-market plans for major product launches that require cross-functional support and work with product, design, comms and marketing to deliver on these project plans.
- Manage the website with support from the product and engineering teams, including creating new content and delivering on SEO enhancements.
This is a new focus area with a lot of white space and requires thoughtful planning and coordination.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record of project management, preferably for a Web3 company.
- Experience developing content, with a strong eye for copy, creative and storytelling.
- Working knowledge of SEO and an interest in developing a deep understanding of this area over time.
- Deep understanding of the crypto landscape; both short and long-term trends.
- Passionate about crypto and Web3.

The Role : Executive Assistant
The Office of the CTO is in search of a full-time Executive Assistant to help manage the schedules and day to day of rapidly changing needs for multiple VP’s.
You will be responsible for making sure the daily schedules, expenses, misc business follow ups and travel arrangements are running smoothly.
This candidate will ideally be based in the U.S. - Seattle, San Francisco or New York.
Responsibilities :
- Manage complex and frequently changing calendars for multiple VP’s
- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Draft internal and external correspondences for VP’s
- Process business related expenses
- Juggle various ad hoc duties as needed requested by VP’s
- Serve as back-up to EA to the CTO
- Partner with the CTO’s EA team to support / execute firm-wide or team-specific initiatives as well as assignments originating from the CTO’s direct reports
Minimum Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience, ideally 3+ with experience in managing multiple calendars
- Extensive experience with G-Suite and Slack
- Extensive experience with scheduling in multiple time-zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong time management abilities
- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround

Accounting Manager
Responsibilities
- Participate in the accounting close and manage assigned accounting areas through preparation of accounting entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze fluctuations in thepany's balance sheet and ie statement and present explanations for significant variances
- Work with the Technical Accounting team to develop and document process flows and procedures to operationalize, implement new and / or relevant accounting standards (i.
e. Leases, CECL) to aid global operations andpliance
- Develop new / enhance existing accounting policies and procedures, and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) including drafting of desktop procedures related to digital assets.
- Be an essential part of the annual audit with both internal and external auditors, the accounting team, and executive management

Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance
- 5+ years of experience, preferably Big4 and fin-tech or financial service industry experience
- CPA (or equivalent) preferred
- prehensive and current understanding of US GAAP, including recently issued accounting pronouncements, and SEC reporting principles and regulations
- Able to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to rmend and implement process improvements, work autonomously and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience working through ambiguity tomunicate clear accounting positions and operational solutions
- Excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal
- Significant proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience with Looker, Netsuite / Sage, Floqast is a bonus
- Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and the crypto industry

Senior Security Engineer
Responsibilities
- Own individual security solutions throughout their lifecycle, including design, development, and deployment, in order to continuously improve Gemini's ability to detect and respond to advanced, targeted threats
- Develop and improve processes and tools that supports the team rapidly iterating and responding to threats Gemini faces
- Engage in incident response and investigation efforts
- Analyze technical threat data to extract TTPs, malware techniques, and adversary methods
- Create and enhance countermeasures and detections for malware, attacker techniques, threat actor methodology, and suspicious events associated with intelligence obtained by the Gemini Team
- Produce well documented, resilient and manageable code that supports the streamlining and automation of the above
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on the team in their growth and implementation of the above
Minimum Qualifications :
- Significant DFIR / Threat Detection and Response experience
- Scripting proficiency in amon programming language (e.g. Python, Go)
- Hands-on familiarity with CI / CD, infrastructure as code, and microservices
- Aptitude in the use of containerization technologies (eg. Docker)
- Experience in the design and implementation of detection signatures spanning multiple security log sources (Splunk, EDR, etc.)
- Able to troubleshoot and debug issues, and demonstrate a methodical approach to root cause analysis
- Excellent oral and writtenmunication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with leadership, engineers, vendors and peers
Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity in the use of container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Experience applying CI / CD concepts to the development and deployment of security detection mechanisms and tools
- Understanding of ETL and Workflow engines (e.g. Argo Workflows, Airflow)
- Experience in host and memory forensics (including live response) for Windows, OSX, and / or Linux
- Experience with the analysis of new log and data sources and methodically incorporating them into a detection pipeline
- Practical experience applying analysis frameworks (e.g Kill Chain, ATT&CK, etc)
- Experience in automating any of the above using existing APIs and tools
