Cyber Security Architect

Job Summary and Purpose :

As a Cyber Security Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and presales support to customers.

The goal is to drive sales of best-in-class security solutions, focused on Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Crowdstrike, and other security platforms as needed.

You will utilize your strong technical and consultative skills to help evaluate customer requirements and design solutions to meet customer needs.

Successful candidates will have strong backgrounds in Zero Trust Frameworks, Secure Access Services Edge, Cloud Security, Security tool consolidation, and MDR and Automation.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to the sales team and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Assists the sales team in assessing the potential applications of cyber security solutions and partner products to meet customer needs.
  • May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products / applications / solutions.
  • May provide consultation to prospective users and / or product capability assessment and validation.
  • A strong understanding of the Cyber Security industry
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment
  • Excellent technical communication skills to work with prospects, customers, and cross-functional teams

Experience / Education

  • 7 - 10+ years experience in technical sales
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent is required. A Graduate Degree is desired.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Expert in Cyber Security
  • Expertise in one or more security solutions including Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, and Crowdstrike
  • Familiar with AWS, Azure, GCP Cloud security
  • Familiar with DevSecOps and Identity Access management
  • Familiar with Security tools consolidation, MDR / SOAR, Zero Trust, and Cloud Security
  • Experience which demonstrates a significant level of expertise in technical specifications required to sell Fortinet, Cisco, and / or Palo Alto products and services is required.
  • Aptitude to learn technology-focused products and services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to build client rapport, leading to long-lasting relationships and referrals.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing products, trends, methods, and procedures in a highly competitive environment.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

PS Consulting Engineer

Education : bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, or related field is preferred

Experience : Network Security, Cloud Security and Cyber operations.

Proposed Years of Experience : 5-6 years+

Job Summary :

The Level 3 (Consulting) Engineer will have deep technical expertise with design and troubleshooting and recommending solutions and / or process changes.

The Consulting Engineer's role within our organization is someone that acts independently to determine and develop approaches to solutions, has general knowledge of other related disciplines, and interacts frequently with multiple organizations, levels of leadership and external customers.

General understanding of PS business metrics and drivers to help shape client solution approach and team development. Additionally, provides strong PM input to help shape and guide projects while mentoring junior resources to eventually do the same.

Key Responsibilities :

  • While maintaining big picture focus for client, the Level 3 (Consulting) Engineer will regularly work independently on all aspects of less complex engagements to successful completion without supervision.
  • Typical tasks may include break / fix, upgrades, loading software maintenance releases, migration activities, adding another site / gateway / server to an existing network.
  • Responsibilities include oversight of the design, development, implementation and analysis of technical products and systems.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors throughout project or program.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Extensive understanding of complex network design.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong engineering and operational experience in Service Provider and Enterprise networks.
  • Exceptional at multi-tasking, time management, and remaining flexible in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with customers while presenting complex technical issues.
  • Needs to have good cross-functional understanding of technical architectures outside targeted domain to account for required integration points.

Certifications :

Must be completed in anyone of below certification.

o CCNP Security - Good to have.

o Palo Alto PCNSE

o Fortnet NSE4, NSE6 or NSE7

o CCIE Written - Good to have.
