Job Description

Serves as an experienced Social Media Analyst (Assessments) with working knowledge of global social media platforms, statistical research methods and data analytics to provide support to a social media program in Tampa, FL.

Analyzes, coordinates and assesses social media strategies and operations in support of specified objectives. Provides expertise in optimizing multiple platform efforts.

Supports concept development, content development and posting efforts in fast-paced, fluid and highly collaborative environment.

Supports documentation and cataloging of efforts. Develops assessment techniques rooted in social & behavioral research methodology in response to changing requirements and supports assessments of effectiveness.

Produces reports for internal and external audiences, consolidating, refining, and presenting data for various stakeholders.

Reports to project lead and supports team administrative activities when required. Requires the following skillsets : social media, sentiment, competitive, audience and influence analysis;

topic definition and disambiguation; trendspotting and benchmarking; data visualization and report creation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and lead assessments of social media and other internet-based engagements through quantitative analyses that provide insight into program effectiveness
  • Produce reports for internal and external audiences, consolidating, refining, and presenting data in consumable ways for various customers
  • Develop assessment techniques rooted in social & behavioral research methodology in response to changing requirements
  • Interact with team members to clarify assumptions and improve efficacy of social media campaigns
  • Proactively identifies new tools and techniques to track the effectiveness of social media campaigns

Required Qualifications

  • Understands global social media trends, including which social media platforms are popular in different regions
  • Proficiency in social media, data analysis, data visualization, and statistical analysis methods, techniques, tools, and programs
  • Demonstrated experience with Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP) of social media marketing campaigns
  • Intermediate data analysis and extraction skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of database structure and queries
  • Ability to work with unstructured data
  • Ability to process, clean and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Superior communication skills and English fluency
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Secret Clearance required (Top Secret preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in a Social Media Marketing, Communications, Marketing, or related field

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Knowledgeable in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Speaks multiple languages
