At Gates, we welcome challenges, celebrate hard work, and continually seek new talent to join our global company. Our Houston, TX plant is looking for Assembly Technicians.

- The Assembly Technician is responsible for all aspects of hydraulic hose assembly (un-crating, cutting, skiving, swaging, crimping, testing, packaging, etc.)
- Assemble product per customer requirements / specs and prepare it for final QA / QC inspection - this can include un-crating product, cutting product to required length, skiving raw hose, swaging / crimping, hydrostatic testing the assembly, cleaning the assembly, packaging the assembly into final shipping container, and other functions as needed.
- Read and compare pick ticket (BOM- bill of material) to work order - cross reference all materials prior to build
- Assist QA / QC technician in final inspection

ABOUT THE JOB
- In Brandon, our distribution center works closely with our production plant. We specialize in the warehousing and shipping of Gates' finished hydraulic hoses and their various parts.
- Our work starts with receiving raw materials that we then delivered to production. Once the hoses are finished and marked with the Gates logo, it is our job to package and ship the products to one of our many customers around the world.
- A Warehouse Operator will spend most of their workday receiving inbound shipments, handling outbound orders, processing paperwork, filling orders, driving forklifts, and maintaining inventory.
- Shifts available : 1st and 2n d Shift (Monday-Friday) 6 : 00 am -2 : 00 pm or 2 : 00pm- 10 : 00 pm
